Selling off the dubias. I have 16 breeding colonies producing babies. Very easy to take care off, and can easily feed your reptiles. I love the business, it is just to much for me to take care of, and I need a little less stress in jy life. If you know anyone looking for colonies, I have them. $150 for each full blown Colonie and I think I have two starter colonies that I will let go of for $75.

It's not much but we grew superworms. It is a Ling a grueling process just to get to here. So probably will only be growing for Sid. But itcwas a fun little project and I was successful.

Last Resort Dubias is now selling The confused Rice Flour Beetle (Tribolium confusum) which is an easy-to-culture, convenient food source for poison dart frogs, bumble bee toads, fish, and other small animals that enjoy smaller food items. They are very easy to maintain. And can go very long periods of time without a food source.

Well we are trying this again. Newly molted Darkling Beetle. Hopefully we will have better luck breeding Superworms this go round. Only 50 more to hatch.

Merry Christmas to all my friends, clients, and future clients. Has been a great half year starting off, and I can not thank everyone enough for supporting me and my little venture. Hoping we get started off the year with a few more colonies. The winter has posed a bit of a challenge, and we are currently working on ways to keep them babies cooking through the cold months. If anyone is interested, I have Buffalo Beetles for sale. They are a great addition to your bio-active enclosures or a good cleanup crew for you Dubia roach colonies. They are non evasive, natural way to keep your colonies and bio-active setups clean. They will help fight mold, fungus, and flies. They will not compete with your Colonies for food, and will eat any decaying organic material. As they breed the larva can be consumed by you small reptiles. Offering 100 for $5. How about we run a short special om Larges and Extra Larges for the remainder of the month or while supplies last. I have a bin slap full of large and extra large dubias needing thinned out. Last Resort dubias has their first successful Darkling Beetle hatchling. Get these guys breeding and start the process again. Hopefully in 3-6 months we should have a decent amount of superworms.

Well we decided to try to breed super worms. We have 92 of them headed off to a dark place for two week until they transform into their cocoons, and then metamorph into the Darkling Beetle. So got a month to prep for new space for them.

Look in Services for updated Pricing to Weight ratio's to get the most up to date pricing detail for our feeders. Also, may be entertaining breeding Superworms for our local clients as well. We are in the process of researching that and seeing if this can also be accomplished here at Last Resort Dubias. No promises on this....

I wanted to thank everyone that took advantage of the buy 1 get 1 1/2 off get to know us sale. We sold pretty much all of our Medium Dubias and will be working on restocking them in the very near future. We will be starting a new promotion next week on our small dubias. We are also updating our pricing. Well the pricing is staying the same, but we ran some test and updating our weights for approximations to the amount being sold. That will be posted shortly.

The farm is growing, we decided two divide two of our 300 female colonies in half more for safety than anything. I did notice in the large feeder totes, there are quite a few adult males and females that will need to be removed. I am feeling good, if someone is looking g to get a starter colony going, this would be a good time to take advantage of these extra adults. So if you are interested in getting g a colony going hit me up, and we will get ome built for you.

So was checking on the colonies this morning, and came across a momma with her new offspring. I counted 32 babies in that little area. This was the first time I have seen a momma with her new born. I see new babies all the time, but not fresh and new like these guys. So cool. Sign of great things to come

Things are progressing along at Last Resort Dubias. We did a complete inventory of our supply yesterday and reset all of colony ratios. This will go along way into the breeding process of the colonies, and eliminating all that male fighting that can happen when there are too many males in a colony. At the end of the week, we will be hopping at over 1100 females producing high quality nymphs. By the end of the week we will be able to supply small, medium, and large dubias to our local reptile community so spread the word.

Will be looking to start making some sales next week. Will be starting off with smalls. If you have small reptiles that need small dubia feeders, we will be able to start supplying locals with those. So caught this one action. This is a sub adult going through their final instar to becoming an adult female. From here she will go through 9 pregnancies in her life time producing as many as 450 babies.
