R***r’s mom has been sick so they’ve had to be penned up so she could get medicated, she is doing much better now and can go out in the pasture some and boy was R***r happy to get out and run
We can’t keep them all so my husband has decided to find a great home for 1 of his personal horses- “Taco” has been in the family for 13 years, he isn’t finished in anything but has been used for everything, he knows the barrels, poles, been headed off of, heeled off of, trail ridden, ponied c**ts, you name it, he’s probably done it. He is a hot blooded running horse so he has more go than whoa so he needs an experienced rider. He has an ugly scar on a hind leg but he is sound on it. As hard as this is for me to do….the time has come for me to find Firen Jewel a new home with someone who has the time and finances to flush embryos out of this amazing mare and she can carry her a foal, I was just thinking in terms of getting several foals from her in a single year. She’s an own daughter of Alive N Firen, she is 21 and due to the fact that I lost my stud last year, my breeding program took a huge hit and I have to make changes. “Jewel” is a total sweetheart, was making an outstanding barrel mare before an injury took her out of competition. I would say that she would work for lead lining, but I don’t have any grandkids so I haven’t used her. My precious mother who now watches over me from heaven gave me this mare so she will only go to an approved home that will guarantee to keep her until the end of her days. I know this is a long post, but please understand how hard this is and how much this mare means to me. There need to be more babies out there from this mare so that is why I’m letting her go, you will not be disappointed by her c**ts!!!!! I kept her first c**t and he is awesome.
