As winter approaches we think that finally our pets are going to get some relief from fleas and ticks. Well, that's not actually true as we are seeing from the amount of dogs coming into my grooming salon with bald spots, skin infections and flea infestations. Below is a map showing Flea and Tick season in different locations here in the U.S.

The Green Anoles is a reptile. While they are not chameleons, green anoles have the ability to change color from bright green, to yellow, brown, gray, or a color in-between. Anoles make no sounds and are between 5-8 in long. These lizards live in trees but also forage on the ground. The males are a little larger than the females. Males have a pink flap of skin hanging in an arc below their necks called a “dewlap” which they show off to attract females or scare away other males. They will also do push-ups and bob their heads in display. Sticky feet help anoles climb on and cling to almost anything.
