Today we had pool training at Brad Perry’s house from Mutts in Motion. Pool training helps build confidence, strengthen bonds, mental and physical stimulation, and establish a pack! Our interns Vanessa and Melinda are in the pool with our dogs, Oakley and Edd! Thank you Brad for having us!

Happy Fourth of July! Today we went on a walk with Brad Perry from mutts in motion, and our dogs to get them used to being out in public and learn how to walk properly. We are working hard to learn how to train our dogs. These two dogs here were not getting along in the beginning and by the end of the walk, they were walking right next to each other! #training #dogtraining #adoptdontshop #adoptme
We want to thank Brad Perry from Mutts In Motion for coming out to help us train our dogs! Our staff and interns are learning a lot and appreciate the time and knowledge Brad has been giving to us.
Sweet Momma Sadie had a rough start to her day! She came in from a walk very agitated, whining, and trying to rub on everything. Ali quickly realized it was an allergic reaction (we think she was bitten/stung while going potty). She gave a dose of benadryl and pepcid ac. Then rushed her to our amazing veterinarian Dr. Louis at Powers Drive Animal Hospital. He and his awesome staff got her in right away and gave her a steroid injection. Sadie is already feeling better and her puppies slept through the whole ordeal! So as a reminder always keep benadryl on hand! Contact your veterinarian for your pets correct dose. And a huge thank you to Dr. Louis and his staff!
Happy Caterday! Miss Fluff Bunny is practicing her tablet skills this morning. She loves to snuggle with her foster sister!
Miss Jelly wants to remind you that breakfast is the most important meal of the day! She'll even have 2nd breakfast in a couple hours.
