This guy is still looking for his forever home! I hate that I can’t give him the big space he needs. He’s a very smart dog.. but has lots of energy. He sits patiently and waits for me to tell him he can have his food. He has a favorite toy he hold dearly in his mouth waiting for you to throw it for him to go get! He needs a home. Morning update… Hes sleeping peacefully in his bed in his pen! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Back On May 14th I received 3 young opossums. They were named George, Jones, and Tammy.. Tammy decided to leave two days later… Jones left about 2 weeks later… George has stayed and could care less about looking for a way out of the pen.. but now it’s time. He’s a big boy now and ready to take on the woods! It’s hard for me to actually kick them out. So what I do is fix them a big ole meal and then I “forget” to lock the pen door. This way they have a feel of releasing themselves back to where they belong. ❤️☺️🥰Hope to see ya around George! ❤️❤️

The rivers flooding yesterday in our Real County could possibly have displaced lots of fur babies of all kinds. If you happens to save one, please reach out to the game warden for wildlife or message me and I will help out as much as I can to care for them or help find their families.

Thought y’all would like a little update on the three little birds. They all now open their mouth for the syringe on their own. They graduated to a bigger bowl because the other one they were getting a little crowded and for sure they all know how to p**p good. Still no chirping sounds. oh and they slept through the night last night. 🎉🎉

Let’s hope I get to pull an all nighter… these three little ones came to me about 8:30. They were found laying on the ground. I’m going to feed them quite often thru the night to allow them to get strength built back up hopefully! This little incubator is perfect for keeping them at the right temperature!
And I dont have a clue as to what they are! Maybe sparrows?

Does anyone happen to have one of these laying around they aren’t using? piglet has completely outgrown his oblong trough.. I fill it up and he dumps it over!🤣🤣🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ he actually is to big now to even get in it! The picture below is an 8ft but a 10 ft would definetly be better. Needs to have a drain because I’m pretty sure I couldn’t lift it to clean it. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I know I’m a strong ole broad but that’s pushing my limits. 😂😂

Story time…. A few months back a man contacted me about building some shelters out in the pens where the big dogs are. (I’m constantly hanging tarps to help provide shade. ) anyway he came out looked at the pens and a couple weeks later he’s texting me wanting to bring out one that he built!! Check it out… it’s like a 6 x 6 welded steel! This thing ain’t going no where. And the shade for the dogs is perfect! So my hero for today is “Steve”. And.. he’s going to build another one!!!🥰❤️

Meet Kane – Your Loyal Adventure Buddy in the Making!

Kane is a 5-year-old, 60-pound Pointer mix with a heart full of hope and legs built for running. After spending his entire life on a chain, Kane is finally getting the chance to enjoy freedom, fresh air, and the love he’s always deserved.

This handsome guy is fully vetted, dog-friendly, and ready to find a forever home where he can stretch his legs and thrive. He’d love a big, securely fenced yard where he can run and play—it’s his favorite way to let off steam and feel joy.

Kane is strong and still learning the ropes of polite leash walking—he pulls with enthusiasm, so he’ll need someone who can handle his strength and is willing to keep working on his manners. Because of his size and energy, Kane is looking for a home without small children.

While Kane gets along well with other dogs, he does have some food aggression and will need to be fed separately from other pets to avoid conflict. With clear boundaries and structure around mealtime, this is easily managed.

Despite his rough start, Kane is eager to connect and bond. He’s a sweet, loyal boy who just needs someone patient and kind to help him feel safe and loved.

If you’ve got space, time, and a soft spot for second chances, Kane might just be your perfect match.
