Building a Lure!
Lures are great for shaping new behaviors and building confidence in your dog! This is a great way to get your dog moving, especially if they’re nervous or easily confused.
The hand should have high value food which you cover so the dog can still see, smell, and even taste but can’t quite get.
This can be a messy game so gloves are recommended!
Start with small movements like backing up a step or two then advance as the dog’s confidence grows.
This is a great engagement game to build your relationship with your dog!

Great packwalk this morning! We started with a little walk up and down the boardwalk, followed by placing and showing off on this rock wall.
I think they built this wall specifically for us and for dogs to pose on!
After that we ran for shade because the environment felt like the Mojave Desert!
Once to the shade we kicked off a chaos walk or what will now be referred to as a “spaghetti walk”! Ha ha.
Finished up with some Simon says obedience and called it a day!
