I rarely discuss politics, so please forgive me if this is out of line. In my opinion, opinions are like bums - they all stink to some degree.

I oppose the 'Animal Shelter Bond' because, based on my experience working with such bureaucracies, it's a waste of funds that will only lead to more euthanizations instead of rehabilitation.

Do we want to create a more efficient killing machine? Think wisely.

Friday October 18th, 2024 at 3:52 p.m. George Patrick Kendzior passed peacefully in his sleep. He returned home to meet his maker, and he beloved first Service Dog TINY who passed on June 9, 2019.

George had been battling with other health issues, & recently his health took a turn for the worse. Unfortunately, in May of 2024 he was diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer, which ended up taking his life rather quickly.

We will miss you George!

I signed the petition will you please as well. I know for many this is an extremely sensitive matter. I normally stay out of the matter. But no more will I hide behind the shadows.

For many, who know know my practices, the know I firmly abide in the LIMA approach. (Least Invasive Minimally Adverse), except in matters of extreme life, limb, and personal safety.

There is growing movement in California who are moving to ban the one tool that can save lives, yes you heard correctly, ban. The group didn't ask if the tool was properly tested, or used, if in good hands can be used for wonderful things, no they just want to take the tool away. So let's keep this choice in our hands, and in the hands of the people who know best, the experts with decades of experience.

I typically do not like the label "aggressive", as it implies a poor choice in descriptive words.

Do you know when your dog is climbing, "The Canine Ladder of Aggression"?
Or preferably, "The Canine Ladder of Reactive Behaviors"?

If not, learn to better read your dogs social cues.

Romeo is Cat Friendly, Intact Male Tested and Approved via "Z" (Xolotl), Romeo knows basic commands, but as know younger shepherds can be slightly mouthy at times (currently working on it, gentle it is, but he's learning). He walks beautifully on a leash, and knows his basic commands, sit, lay, down, paw, ECT. He is a very fast learner.
