URGENT:
Need a temporary foster for this sweet boy named Buster. Please reach out to family via phone or text if interested. He's at risk of euthanasia due to space issues.

Good with dogs, smalls as well, not sure about cats or kids. Will offer free training for the fosters.

Come on folks! Real service dogs obey the rule, "four on the floor". This should be a given, and if you have a specially trained small breed (which takes lots of work, only certain ones make the cut). I mean no disrespect. They carry them in a purse close to their face to smell pheromones to alert them to attacks. Those who have been through the training know! It's a lot of work, but it pays off in the end.

The store should be allowed to ask:
1) Is that service animal required for a disability?
2) What tasks have they been trained to perform?

Real service dogs like our lovely pups below, not riding in baskets. 😊

I wanted to share this image and article that is becoming harder to ignore. I see it once in a "blue moon", where the owner refuses to accept any responsibility in the behaviors shown, and puts all blame on the sweet baby. Then we can't make any progress. Unfortunately, they did not want help, but want me to agree with a dicision already made long ago.

I'm here for the ones who cannot speak for themselves, and to be a voice of the innocence.

Crocodiles have been shown to have high cognitive function and have been shown to have no interest in wanting to harm something that is truly in need. These creatures helped the pup from another pack of crazy dogs trying to harm them. Yay! Go crocodiles... not all predators are out to eat the innocent ones. Truly an act of empathy to another animal in need!

Scientists are not sure why the crocodiles didn't just eat the dog, as they were well within "striking range."

This is Xolotl's momma! Hazel came in with a bunch of pups, and this sweet girl did a fine job with my sweet pup Xolotl. You know how I feel about momma's, she starved herself to save her babies, and did a heck of a job to make sure they all survived! The least we could do is help her.

She needs her surgery covered to fix a hole in her heart, a congenital defect. Anything will do.

They are doing this everywhere, it's even happening at beloved used to be "no-kill" shelters. So called budget cuts, firing of certified behaviorist, vet technicians, and appreciate staff members, to bring in the high "kill staff", all to meet the agendas of these policies.

Please stand with and help demand to stop these barbarian procedures at our local shelters. Trust me they are happening!!!

“A Grand Jury investigation into conditions at Orange County Animal Care (OCAC) in California uncovered:

- Excessive rates of killing;
- Killing despite empty cages;
- Lack of animal enrichment;
- Lack of proper behavioral assessment of dogs, including lack of “written guidelines, policies, or procedures” and the elimination of dog behaviorist positions to work with stressed animals;
- Poor leadership;
- Lack of cooperation between staff;
- Outdated policies and procedures;
- Restrictive adoption programs that require an appointment;
- A culture of secrecy and self-dealing; and,
- ‘[L]ow morale negatively impacting operation of the shelter.’

“Despite operating in a 10-acre site built for $35,000,000 that includes a ‘two-story, approximately 30,000 square-foot main building, six stand-alone kennel buildings, multiple dog play yards, a barnyard, and a rabbit housing area’ — making it ‘the single largest municipal animal facility in the western United States’ — adult cat killing has risen dramatically and killing dogs for behavior, including puppies, has increased 187%.

This is phenomenal science! I'm sure it will be relatively simple soon.

Please spread the word! We need to stop the endless killing in shelters for no reason. Especially by uneducated people! They should have no input in an animals right to live. Especially if the reason is just to make their live easier.
