I will be working with professional pet photographer to teach you all how to take the best photos of your beloved pets ❤️

A very big congratulations to Stephanie and Theo !!

Theo has officially become a certified therapy dog ! Theo is certified through . Theo and Stephanie have both been working hard to achieve their certification and I am so proud of them . They took this test in a new environment with a bunch of dogs they have never met. Theo passed with flying colors. Stephanie and Theo will be working in a dental office to provide therapy to those with dental anxiety . Theo is trained to provide deep pressure therapy . Theo does this by laying on the patient’s lap during their appointment. DPT effectively reduces anxiety, stress, and pain. DPT can help patients into a calm state .

Training is always fun at Devoted Canine Training!! Chip and his dad are practicing there new off leash skills in Lowes. Chip is learning he can be well behaved in all types of new environments . Great Job Chip !!!

Zeus and Blocka are 7 month old Rottweiler twins who started with me a few weeks ago. They have been working on leash walking. These two puppies can now be walked in the same hand !!

Dog Training is all about fun !! We are working on strengthening Winnie’s off leash recall (yes she is on a drag line). Fireworks 💥 and other loud noises can be extremely scary to dogs !! In this week’s group class we set off some party poppers to make sure everyone was comfortable and unafraid of loud noises .

Olive working on her off leash heel !!! This girl is doing so well and making so much progress!

Yeobo was having trouble with his sit stays but not anymore !!! Fighting !!!

Great job Wishbone !!!! Wishbone has come so far in just a few sessions !! He was struggling with reactivity towards people and dogs but, Wishbone is quickly learning life is more fun when you can make friends with the new people and dogs you meet along the way !!

When your lab puppy got that working dog spirit !! Cooper is working on heeling !! Him and his handler are doing an awesome job !!

This was the beginning of the end .... Ivy did amazing in her session yesterday !! We started with her dragging a leash around and ended with her walking off leash around several dogs. Ivy showed no reactivity to dogs at all !!!! How can we proof a behavior ??? Cordi B is working on her down stay ! In order to make sure her down stay is bombproof we need to proof the behavior. This means - we can practice in a new environment - we can practice around distractions like children and dogs - we can even move around the dog in new ways like skipping , running, dancing, or jumping Always remember to periodically treat to reinforce behaviors !! Congratulations Miss Ivy !!!! When Ivy first started her training, Ivy was unable to be around dogs . Now Ivy is able to be around dogs practically off leash !!! Ivy is now ready to start her transition to advanced off leash obedience !!!!

Miss Ivy is doing so well with her reactivity . Ivy and her pawrents have been working really hard. Ivy is making doggy friends now and her reactivity has reduced significantly !!! Hard Work Pays Off !!! Good Girl Ivy !!!
