Sweet Toby, a year old Bernese Mountain dog cross, arrived for training with a rudimentary Sit and not much else.

We are into week 2. We have a much better Sit, and an excellent Down. He is progressing nicely with Off, Wait, Come, Leave It and is learning to walk on a leash without pulling. In addition to verbal commands he is also learning to respond to cues using touch and body language.

He’d never been crated before. Now he runs in when asked and even when he isn’t.

Toby thinks learning is fun, and he will be a much easier dog to live with when he goes home. Good boy, Toby!

Rufus is all smiles after our training session. What a great dog!

Recently adopted after languishing in a shelter for a year or more, he is 6 years old and totally deaf. Worked with his owner on introducing various hand signals and leash cues and encouraging attention on her.

They did great! Rufus happy, owner happy…and I had a blast. Love my job!!!

This young fella is in for training. Major is doing great!

He’s sensitive; can be a bit clingy and uncertain. But he has made huge strides in these last couple of weeks. Picks up on things QUICK and is generally an all around happy guy.

We are having a bunch of fun. Here we are navigating my neighborhood pet shop.

Darling little Siya, a 4 month old yorkiepoo, has arrived for training.

She’s a pet store puppy who has been struggling with house training and was having freak outs in a wire crate. A cozier plastic crate, a playpen, less opportunity to make mistakes and she’s doing great! Fun little pup.
