Pathways Home Animal Rescue helps reunite lost pets with their owners, but also rescues dogs from the County shelters to keep them from being euthanized. After receiving any necessary vet care and being altered, vaccinated, and microchipped, then we find loving homes for the dogs we've rescued from the County shelter, as well as for owner surrenders, and for strays when no owners are found. Meet Brody, the spirited 1-1/2 year old Scottish Terrier blend! Weighing in at a playful 14 pounds, he’s full of energy and personality (as you can see from the video!)... he will definitely require a fenced yard to help him wear off some of his puppy energy!

This sweet boy loves his daily walks and would thrive in a yard where he can run and explore. With his inquisitive nature, he’s always curious about his surroundings and wants to be part of the action. Once playtime winds down, Brody is more than happy to cuddle up and watch TV with you—he's got a taste for a variety of shows!

While he enjoys the company of people, Brody can be a bit selective with his doggy pals. If you have another dog, a careful introduction is a must. He’d also do well as the only pet, as long as his new owner can keep him entertained and active. He will require some basic puppy obedience training as well.

Since Brody was found as a stray, we’re unsure of his history with children. Therefore, it’s best if any kids in the home are older, respectful, and have some experience with dogs.

If you're looking for a playful companion who’s ready to fill your life with joy, Brody is your guy! He is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $350.00.

If you would like to add Brody to your family, please visit our website at: https://pwrescue.org and click on the “Adopt” button to complete an application,.

For all the Schnauzer lovers out there, meet Girlee! She is a sweet, 7-8-year-old Miniature Schnauzer weighing 18 pounds. Girlee came to the rescue when her previous owner was no longer able to care for her, and now she’s looking for her forever home.

Girlee gets along well with other dogs—as long as they’re boys—but she’d prefer to be the only “Girlee” in the house. She would also thrive as an only dog and would love a home where at least one person is around most of the time to keep her company and cuddle on the couch. She’s as affectionate as can be and every bit the lovable Schnauzer.

Girlee is potty trained, crate trained, and enjoys running around in the backyard. A home with a secure fenced yard would be ideal for her to get some exercise and playtime. While we don’t know her history with young children, any kids in the home should be at least 12 years old and of a kind and respectful nature. Cats, on the other hand, are probably not a good fit, as Girlee has the typical terrier prey drive.

Girlee is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300. If you think Girlee would be a great addition to your family, please visit our website at pwrescue.org and click on the "Adopt" button to complete an application.

Our sweet Parker was born in the rescue on May 6, 2023 and is ready for his forever family!!

At 1+ years old, Parker is a well-balanced terrier mix that is playful, active and "crazy cute." He loves his belly rubs and back scratches, plays with his toys and enjoys zoomies and playing chase with his small to medium play buddies. He also loves to walk, run and play chase with his people (as you can see from the video).

He is a smart, well-behaved good boy and loves to GO! You will want to take him everywhere--restaurants, shopping and other valley events. He walks well on a leash, knows sit, stay, come and would love more group training classes to show off his smarts. He will find you fascinating and will want to follow you everywhere.

He meets furry friends nicely and is a little shy meeting new people, but he warms up quickly. He would do best with another play buddy in the house, because he loves to play.

Adopting Parker means opening your home to a loyal companion who will fill your heart with joy, laughter and love!

Parker is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $400. Please visit our website at https://pwrescure.org and click on the 'Adopt' button to complete an application.

November is "Adopt A Senior Pet" month... Pathways has three pairs of amazing senior pups that are in search of their forever "retirement" home....they are all amazingly sweet and deserving of a quiet, loving place to spend their "golden years"....you won't be sorry! Senior dogs are the best...they are trained, low key, and mainly just want to snuggle and go for a daily walk...they are content just to be with you...

PLEASE SHARE so that they can get as much exposure as possible! Thank you.

Meet Diamond and Lilly, two charming little seniors in search of a loving forever home. These sweet girls, Diamond, 9-year-old Chihuahua and Lilly, a 10-year-old Toy Poodle, are 7 pounds of pure heart and cuteness. After losing their beloved human mama, they were thankfully surrendered to the rescue by a kind neighbor. Now, they are ready to find a home where they can live out their golden years with love, comfort, and plenty of cuddles.

Both girls are in great health, up to date on vaccines, and potty pad trained. They’re happy little dogs who thrive on simple pleasures like food, warmth, and affection. They’ll enjoy snuggling up with you and keeping you company around the house.

Lilly is a delightful Toy Poodle who does need a dental procedure, but she will arrive at her new home well-groomed and ready to be your best friend. Diamond, the Chihuahua, is the more curious of the two. She’ll make sure she’s always in the loop, keeping an eye on everything going on around her, while also enjoying her share of cuddles and attention.

These two are easy keepers who would love a safe, cozy environment to call their own. A home with a small yard or patio where they can bask in the sun and run around would be ideal. While they’re not high-energy dogs, they enjoy having a space to stretch their little legs and relax outdoors. Both are incredibly sweet, loving, and affectionate. They have a special way of making you feel loved and cherished. Whether you’re lounging on the couch or going about your day, these girls will happily follow you around, content to be near you.

Diamond and Lilly are looking for a family who will welcome them with open arms and hearts. They need a forever home where they can live out their days surrounded by love, comfort, and security. They’ve been through a lot, and they deserve to enjoy the rest of their lives in peace and happiness.

If you have room in your heart and home for two sweet seniors, Diamond and Lilly could be the perfect match for you. They’re gentle, loving, and just waiting to share their love with a family who will cherish them.

Both are up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. If you are interested in these girls, please visit our website at: https://pwrescue.org and click on the "Adopt" button to complete an application.

PLEASE SHARE so that they can get as much exposure as possible! Thank you.

Zsa Zsa and Lanza are a sweet, 6-year-old Terrier and Maltese mix duo, each weighing 14 pounds. They’re full of love, energy, and have a strong bond with each other – they’ve been together since puppyhood and will need to be adopted as a pair.

These charming girls are looking for a quiet, patient home where they can thrive. Zsa Zsa, the confident big sister, loves to take charge, while playful Lanza keeps the fun alive. Though they love to greet everyone with a vocal "hello," they quickly settle in for cozy cuddles on the couch.

Zsa Zsa and Lanza would do best in a home with a single person or couple, preferably with no children or other pets. They’ve lived with a single woman their whole lives, and while they have experience with men, they may need a little extra time to adjust. They are not a good fit for homes with cats, as they are likely to prefer a feline-free environment.

While older kids might be okay, a child-free home would be their ideal setting, as they thrive in a calm, predictable environment. They’re crate trained, potty trained, and know a few commands—these clever girls are quick learners and ready to pick up more!

They are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $400 for the pair.

If you’re ready to welcome these loving companions into your home, please visit pwrescue.org and fill out an adoption application today!

Meet Ozzie and Oreo, a delightful senior pair of sweet, shy companions looking for a peaceful haven to enjoy their golden years. Ozzie, a Havanese mix, and Oreo, a Shih Tzu mix, are both 9 years old and ready to retire in a loving, quiet home.

This charming duo seeks a serene environment where they can be the center of attention. They would thrive best as the only dogs in the household, allowing them to soak up all the love and care you have to offer. A home without young children would be best, as they prefer a tranquil setting to unwind.

Despite their age, Ozzie and Oreo have plenty of affection to give. Adopting them means offering a cozy, quiet and low key retreat for their twilight years while enjoying the special joy of their loving companionship. They both have a bit of a vocal streak, making them not suitable for apartment or condo living.

Ozzie and Oreo are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00 for the pair.

If you’re ready to provide this sweet pair with a loving home, please visit https://pwrescue.org and click on the "Adopt" button to complete an application.

*PHOENIX METRO AREA ONLY*

For all you Schnauzer lovers, meet Girlee...She is 7-8 years young miniature Schnauzer and weighs 18 pounds. She came to the rescue when her owner was no longer able to care for her.

She gets along with other dogs as long as they are boys! She prefers to be the only "Girlee" in the house. She would also do fine as an only dog and would prefer a home where at least one person is home the majority of the time to keep her company and cuddle on the couch with.

She is every bit a Schnauzer and is as sweet as can be. Girlee is potty trained, crate trained, loves to run around in the backyard, so would do best in a home with a secure fenced yard.

Meet Zsa Zsa and Lanza, a pair of adorable 6-year-old sisters who are the perfect blend of Terrier and Maltese! Each weighing in at 14 pounds, they’re a delightful duo looking for a loving home together.

These sweet girls came to us when their former owner could no longer care for them. Having been together since puppyhood, they are bonded and will need to be adopted as a pair. Zsa Zsa, the big sister, tends to take charge, while Lanza brings her own playful energy. They’re full of life and love to greet everyone who walks through the door with a vocal doggie “hello”, but once the introductions are made, they settle in for cozy cuddles on the couch.

Zsa Zsa and Lanza have lived their entire life with a single woman and seem to thrive in that environment. While they’ve had some experience with men, they’ll need a patient adopter who can help them adjust if there is a man in the home. Older kids might be okay, but a child-free home would be their ideal setting. As for cats, they’re likely to prefer a feline-free environment.

They are both crate trained, potty trained and know a few basic commands…they are very smart and could easily learn more commands quickly! If you’re looking for a pair of loving companions who will keep you entertained and your home full of warmth, Zsa Zsa and Lanza might just be the perfect match!

They are both up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $400.00 for the pair.

Meet Miss Lexi…who, according to her DNA results, is a delightful "fluffy Pit Bull", plus Shih Tzu, plus Chihuahua, plus "Supermutt", plus German shepherd!!!

She is a 1-1/2 year-old, 26-pound girl who is as adorable as she is playful! Lexi joined us when her previous owner could no longer care for her, and now she’s on the lookout for her forever home.

She is bigger in person than she looks in her photos because she is long and low!
This low-shedding, goofy girl is sweet and affectionate, ready to bring joy and laughter into any home. Lexi loves everyone she meets and would thrive in a home with a yard, at least one other playful dog, and lots of love. She has great home manners and is quite patient. Lexi is crate trained and potty trained.

Lexi enjoys running around the backyard, loves to play fetch and tug of war but after playtime is over, she also has a laid-back side, happily lounging in her bed or by your side, eagerly awaiting the next fun activity. Lexi loves going on walks but does get a bit excited when meeting new people and dogs…she just wants to play with them all!

While Lexi has lived with small children, we recommend a home with older, respectful kids who will help her continue to be a wonderful family companion. Lexi is not fond of cats, so no cats in the home please!

Lexi is up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $400.00.
