The University of Wisconsin - Madison Hoofer Riding Club (HRC) is a self-supporting, educational organization devoted to promoting horses and equestrian disciplines to both the university and the local community. The HRC runs its program at a stable called Liberty Stables where we offer riding lessons, clinics, and schooling shows, as well as being the home of the Wisconsin Equestrian Team. Liber

ty Stables is a boarding facility outside of Madison that includes a heated barn and indoor arena, an outdoor arena, and riding trails.

This weekend we wrapped up our Horsemanship 101 course for the fall! We loved getting to know our new riders! And of course, thank you to Koerner Corral LLC for hosting this awesome event!

Congrats to all our seniors graduating this year!

President (Natalie Sander), Webmaster (Kat Baker), and VP-Internal Affairs (Kayleigh Westmore), have been a part of the HRC for the entirety of their college careers and have contributed greatly to the development of the club. We appreciate all your hard work and wish you the best of luck! And don’t forget to alway ❤️🐴

We’re so proud to share that our very own .bunderson , president of , is now a national champion! Mara started riding 3 years ago when she joined the Wisconsin Equestrian Team.
Mara says: “I’ve had the privilege to ride with my coach, Andi Bill and assistant coach, Abby Douglas who have been the most amazing mentors and role models for me. This is my first experience competing with a team and I’ve learned so much about what it means to be an athlete, I couldn’t ask for a better environment and team to support me. Qualifying for Nationals and getting to ride at Tryon was a dream come true in and of itself, but winning first place is just indescribable. I couldn’t ask for a better experience to round out my junior season and can’t wait to see what senior year will bring! Go Badgers!”
