This 8-10 week old baby we’ve named Oakley was found in a parking garage. She had been shot and had a compound fracture in her hind leg. The leg needed to be amputated. She is so sweet and is on her way to making a full recovery. We sure could use your help to cover her $1500 vet bill. Link to our website is in our bio. Please share.

Atlas was dumped at a bird sanctuary. We stepped up to help and he quickly became a volunteer favorite with his chill personality. He was the perfect match for stunning Oreo, a Lionhead who made the journey from Tucson to find a friend. Happy bunnies!

BHRR was contacted by a local Animal Control to help a bunny who was dropped by their front door in a box overnight. We took him to our vet who drummeled the incisors back and discovered the upper incisors had started growing into his gums. It was infected and a round of antibiotics was prescribed. Once he is healed, our vet will make the decision whether or not to remove the incisors.

This is a perfect example why your bunny needs a check-up yearly along with the RHVD2 booster. Plus you should assess your bunny on a weekly basis checking teeth and ears along with a body scan for any lumps or unusual skin irritations.

UPDATE! Our AC is working again! What a week… after dealing with 2 AC companies we finally had success. Thanks to everyone who donated to help us with expenses. We know our summer are hot but they seem to be getting even hotter. The good news is we were able to attend our Pet Market event and the bunnies met some potential adopters. Brioche and Eclair are special sisters! So sweet and loving! Snapchat is one in a million…. so chill and loves attention! .
