Brambley Hedge was recently contacted by another agency for help with a bunny they took in. This bunny sustained significant injuries to her hind leg. Our vet is well versed in these types of injuries and felt confident he could help her. See x rays below.
It was apparent her hind leg was broken plus there were serious injuries to her hip. Our vet determined the leg need to be amputated. The good news is, “Kaluah” came thru like a champ and is on path to 100% recovery. Kaluah will be ready for adoption once she has healed completely.

We took in a 2 month old male from another rescue and he along with 3 others came down with a serious bacterial infection experiencing severe diarrhea. They all responded to medication except Abyss. He was taken to our vet for 24 hour care and after 2 days finally responded to medications.

Heart warming adoption for Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue! Thelma and Louise have been with us for approximately 6 years. They originally came from New Orleans after a hurricane. Thelma and Louise were rescued by Best Friends. They then reached out to Brambley as they needed assistance with placing the bunnies. These girls are precious and big bunnies weighing in at about 10 pounds! Some people are taken aback by their size but that is meaningless! The larger the bunny, normally the more docile. Thelma and Louise found the perfect Bunny Mom! She is experienced and has prepared the perfect room for these gorgeous girls!🐰❤️🐰.

Plus sweet Cannoli enjoyed some lap time! She lives with Angel and they are a wonderful pair as well.

PLEASE spread the word. There are currently close to 500 homeless rabbits in the Phoenix area. Why??? Rabbits are very “high need” animals who require special care on a daily basis. They are not good pets for young children as they will bite and scratch if frightened.

Busy day for Brambley at Pet Market! 2 successful bondings makes it a happy day for two of our bunnies.

McFlurry is a gorgeous Mini Lop and she found Hopper, a Holland Lop! A match made in Heaven❤️💙❤️. The bunnies got along from the start and McFlurry was on her way to her new home❤️

Scarlet O’ Hare is one of the most beautiful Lion heads we have ever had in the rescue. She met Ajax and that was it! Off to their new home they went! 🐰💙🐰❤️ .

Sweet Popcorn came to our rescue from another agency. Her hind leg had multiple injuries putting in doubt if it could be saved. Our vet determined it was beyond salvageable and it was removed. The good news is she is a happy bunny ready for adoption! Popcorn is a super docile Rex and looking for her new home! This is where your donations go by donating on Az Gives Day! Thank you!
