Our speaker this month is Jon Berestecky, the Director of Development for the Chattanooga Regional Homeless Coalition (CRHC). Jon comes to the Coalition after spending 5 years as the Director of Transitional Living at Chambliss Center for Children- where he helped create and establish a housing program for young adults aging out of foster care. This group, in collaboration with CRHC successfully organized to bring the Youth Homeless Demonstration Program to our community- adding over $1,000,000 a year in federal funding for programming to house and help youth and young adults experiencing homelessness. Jon is a gifted organizer and a passionate communicator who is guided in his work by a vision to see a city where young people from EVERY neighborhood have the safety, the support and the opportunities they need to lead the lives they were meant for.
