A repeat Spring breeding is scheduled once again with CH Madrona's Thundering Rain CD RN RA and Crown Imperial of Cle Elum.

Striving to breed exceptional puppies is our motto. Chesapeake Bay Retrievers are a breed all to themselves.

Whidbey Island Kennel Club show results.
It was a good weekend for the Cle Elum Pack!

Friday, Skye was Select bitch
Creek was Best Bred By so we stayed for the Bred By group. The judge took a good long look but decided to go elsewhere with her pick. We both learned something new. A fun day for Mr Creek all around.

Saturday was a GREAT day, Skye was Best of Opposite
Creek received his 2nd major bringing his points to make CH up to 12. Just chasing points now!

Sunday was a repeat of Friday, with one exception. Creek was a butthead in the ring. I didn't expect him to do anything because of his attitude. He would rather smell all the pretty girls 🤦‍♀️

Skye now has 7 points towards her Grand CH!

Cle Elum Chesapeake had a Double Wammy! Thursday, 8-15-24 at the annual Enumclaw shows! Wammy #1: Thursday at the Evergreen Chesapeake Bay Retriever show Rai' Tea Island in Cle Elum aka Miss Skye, Silvi received a Reserve against some very nice bi***es under Betsy Horn Humer, a very well known esteemed chessie breeder and judge. Thank you Betsy, for your kind words and giving my girl Reserve!

At the Rainier Sporting Dog Association show the same day, (this is when it got exciting)! Wammy #2: In the Dog Classes, Cle Elum's Wiandy Creek, aka Mr Creek, Crinkles, Knucklehead extraordinare decided to perform like a real show dog. He was Winner's Dog. Skye did her prance around the ring with her head held high and was Winner's Bitch. What was I going to do with both going into the Best of Breed ring? I never thought this would ever happen! Handling both dogs at the same time would be a feat unto itself if it were possible! So I hollered to a friend to take Skye into the ring so I could handle Creek. Thank you Diane Day! You saved my butt and did an amazing handling of Skye! Both were going against some very nice champions! Wammy #3: OK it was a Triple Wammy! Skye took Best of Winners! Thank you Judge MRS. LORRAINE W BISSO. All pending AKC approval,both my babies earn a 4 point Major towards their CH! Never in my wildest dreams would this ever happen!

No pro photos but Skye will have her's in the next couple days. I didn't get a photo of Creek, lame mama didn't get to the photo area soon enough for both dogs,, so it's just my word that you're going to have to believe!

This mama is very proud of Skye and Creek! We left for home with a lot of swag!

Major congratulations to all the winners over these last 2 days! We got to spread the love around the entire weekend!

Introducing Cle Elum and Madrona, Let’s Get Ready to Rumble.

Rumble has no fear of bird water, strangers, etc.

Currently, he is living with Michelle Voss at Madrona CBR but will be coming home in a few weeks. He has the best of both worlds having two loving homes with many family members to play with!

I think something clicked in Skye. She jumped another 19’ jump! After jumping for the past 5 years, she decided that she likes to fly!!!

Black girl has gone to her new home! She’s now a member of a family that had gotten a puppy from Kenda’s litter so many moons ago! Have a great time sweet girl and SLOW DOWN so Mom and Dad can catch you!

North American Diving Dogs! Today was Creek’s first event. He had a blast! Jumped 11.1 and 13.1 for his first splash! GO Creek!!
Skye surprised the crap outa me! First jump was 17.6 feet. But her second jump blew me away! She did her personal best of 19.4 feet! That’s a foot more than her previous PB! WHAAAAAT? You go Girl!!
Both are sound asleep in the hotel!
Tomorrow is one jump each.

I have a male and 2 females available. All pups are birdy, full of energy and all around sweet and playful. Great temperaments! I am wanting the male to go to a local home for hunting competition and show. I also would want co-ownership for these purposes. He's a special boy. All three have photos below.

It's a bittersweet day today as the first of my pups get to go home to their new home! Chester, now known as Hank, will be the Vancouver, WA area. I'm going to miss him so much! The first baby to leave is always the hardest to say good bye 😢😢
