7.5 months looks good on him ❤️

Venin has done a lot in his time on earth. I'm not talking about the 10 titles he's already accomplished, although there are some great and some funny stories there. He's really made an impact on my life, and he started the moment he was born. He was a c section baby (1 of 4) and he adamantly refused to breathe until he was in my hands. I think we both took that first big breath together. I for sure let out the one I had been holding.

Since then, he's kept me busy. I didn't want to raise a puppy. He didn't want to be raised by anyone else. I had things and important missions to accomplish. He takes great joy in stopping me in my tracks. Whether he's ripping my leg out from underneath me mid stride or giving me whiplash by grabbing his own leash and slamming into reverse, he's effective. He's also smart because he's managed to retrain my brain to stay in the present because there's a lot of life that surrounds us, and he won't be rushed through it.

He's been on this earth for such a short period of time, but he's figured it out already. Make time to see things. Be loud. Don't be afraid to demand what you want. Be bold. Push. Drag those you love with you because they need to see it, too. Yell for the pure enjoyment of hearing your own voice. When you encounter something new, embrace it thoroughly and learn what it is and how and why it works. Your own life will be richer for it. And they say dogs can't talk.
