Stop by today we are open until 4 and make the adoptions for the first week of November amazing! We had a great month, last month, and lets see if we can do better this month! 😝

Last night, on my way to grab a glass of water, my knee suddenly gave out. I hit the floor hard — breath knocked out, pain sharp and unexpected.

Before I could even call for help, Diesel came charging out of the room. But he didn’t bark or panic. He just stopped beside me — strong, still, and watchful.

Then, as I tried to move, he pressed his body close, lowering himself until I could lean on him. Inch by inch, he helped me up — his muscles steady, his eyes locked on mine. Not once did he look away.

Standing there, my hand resting on his shoulder, I felt something powerful. Not just relief — but connection. His warmth, his heartbeat, his quiet courage. It was like he was saying, “I’ve got you. You’re not alone.”

People see Pit Bulls and think “tough” or “dangerous.” But my Diesel? He’s pure love wrapped in strength. My protector, my best friend, my heartbeat with paws.

That night, I didn’t just get back on my feet — I was reminded that real love doesn’t always speak. Sometimes, it just stands beside you
