Well the kudos keep piling up! Bandit, owned by Sionag Black, earned his first Double Q at an agility trial! Bandit took the weekend off from running FTs and HTs 😃 WTG Bandit!!

Wow! Still another ribbon for the Wildwing crew! Sawyer, earned a first place finish in a very difficult scentwork trial! Only 7% of the dogs entered passed this test. He now has 3 passes toward his Detective title, the most difficult level. WTG Sawyer!!!

More weekend ribbons!!! Molly (who turns 2yo today) with her owner Sean Rice earned two Seasoned passes. Ruse (who is only 5mos old) with his owner Lauren Cabrera earned his first Started pass. Gage and his owner Susan Kluesner earned his first Finished pass. CONGRATS and so proud of y'all!!!

This is "Doc" out of our Mack x Raisin litter. He is almost 2yo and doing a fantastic job retrieving geese, ducks, pheasants - from WI to ND to SD to Saskatchewan. On this trip in northern WI, Doc had 30 goose retrieves! He is owned, trained and handled by a newbie - Will Taege who has done a FANTASTIC job!!!

Yesterday I experienced a dream come true! Raisin took 2nd place in the Qual making her QA2!!!! And it got better from there… her kid, Aime, got 1st!!!!!! Thanks to the judges Brad Ames and Dave Robertson for putting forth a challenging trial and to the Blackhawk Retriever Club for hosting. The support from the club members made this day extra special for me!!! Thanks as well to Jerry Petraitis and all my training friends who have helped on this journey. Wouldn’t have been possible without y’all!!!
On my drive there, I said a little prayer for safety and asked God to help my dogs do their best. And then I thought, “God, anything is possible with you so I’m gonna ask for the BEST possible… please help me bring home a blue and a red ribbon!” Praise the Lord!

While Kicker is recovering from a simple surgery, the ol’ gal Trek got the nod to go goose hunting. I wasn’t sure at two months shy of 14, she’d even be able to pick up a goose much less retrieve it from the field. Well she proved me wrong and did a great job! One thing did change though… she’s decided at her age delivering to hand is unnecessary and she simply put the birds in a pile 😁

So very excited to announce Wildwings Teagan of Chute Pond MH WCX CCA!! “Teagan” earned her 5th master pass today to earn the title of Master Hunter! Teagan is owned, 100% trained and loved by Terre Radtke and is Terre’s first dog to train/run in hunt tests. It’s been quite the journey and I could not be more proud of this team!! Congrats Team Teagan!!

Excited to report that ChaCha and her owner Sionag Black have finished the Master Amateur Invitational held in Giddings, TX. ChaCha had clean marks the entire week! This is their 2nd plate from a national event, as they also finished the Master National in 2021. ChaCha (Wildwing She's Got Rhythm MH AX AXJ XF T2B WCX) will turn 7yo in May and is from our Fridge x Glow breeding. So proud of this team!!!!
