“This is Elsie. She is up for adoption at Manatee County Animal Welfare! She looks like a puppy but the girl is 7 years old. Very affectionate, loving, and obedient. She knows how to sit, she is potty trained, crate trained, and likes riding in the car. Elise is only a little over 40lbs so she is the perfect size if your looking for a smaller pup! She was not treated well in the past by having many litters of puppies and then thrown away. Please someone give this girl a chance!

Meet Django ! A 5-year-old ball of sunshine 🔅 who is looking for a fur-ever family to share all his love with. Django is calm, cool and collected and has an affinity for belly rubs and treats. He is potty trained, knows commands and gets along well with other dogs!

He is heartworm positive and needs a committed adopter to help provide his second round of shots. The Pet Adoption and Protection Center will provide his treatment at no extra cost to the adopter.

His cone is off and his sutures have been removed. He is a one year old big puppy who is full of love and just a sweet, goofy boy. He is struggling at the shelter and needs a calmer environment to help him recover from his hip surgery.

🥺My human forgot about me and never came to get me. The shelter forgot about me and never posted me. Now I’ve been forgotten on FB. I’ve been here since July and for many months no one even knew I was here. I’m no stranger to this shelter except this time I’m here as a dog who is heartworm positive. My human never cared enough to give me a pill once a month. Please help get me noticed so I can find a human who cares this time before it’s too late😢

🚨‼️Just carried to the clinic! Blood in his kennel! He’s been there 5 months unnoticed and forgotten! 😢 They will kill him to “end his suffering” for something that is treatable 💔 Sweet little (4years old, 55lbs) needs a voice before it’s too late

‼️10/10 KID IS STILL AVAILABLE. WAITING 5 months unnoticed. He is good with people . Limping and heartworm positive. The shelter treats Hw for free for adopters . Shelter notes only dog home .
