Maximus is bored. He hasn't been outside much this week due to the heat. He just had his dinner but still seemed so sad...so I asked him if he wanted an alligator (one of his favorite treats that just so happens to clean his teeth while chewing 🤫). I love that he knew what I was talking about when I asked him if he wanted one...I love that he ran after me with his crazy treat excitement to the treat cupboard. I love that he sat like a good boy, grabbed that gator out of my hand and went running off to his "treat spot" on the living room floor. I love that his ears were flip-flopping all over the place as he devoured it. I love the side eye he gave me as the foam slowly oozed out of the corner of his mouth. He makes us so happy every single day without even trying and without even knowing. So I will give him every bit of happiness I possibly can every chance I get. That's what he deserves. That and so much more.

🆘️‼️Foster needed - 3 more days‼️🆘️
Miss Wiggles had her posts shared over 400 times and got close to 500 likes, but still NO ONE has stepped up to foster. 😥💔 She will be done with her board and train program on Tuesday and she needs somewhere to go. 🙏🐾 We don't have any room here at the sanctuary, so we are really hoping an angel will come and help us. We don't know what we are going to do if we don't find anyone. Even if you can only foster for a couple of weeks, that will really help us (and Miss Wiggles) immensely.

Please share, pray, send good vibes, do whatever you can to help us find a home for Miss Wiggles in time.

Shout out to all the dog parents who are *present* during your dog's walks. The parents who watch what their dog is doing, enjoy the nature, air and silence with them, let them sniff, don't pull or yank them away while they're trying to savor each moment. The parents who aren't consumed with their phones because they are more interested in the time spent with their best friend. We see you. We appreciate you. ❤️🙌🐾
