Hi, We are Don and Cheryl Davies, owners
of a small breeder of some of the most famous Rottweiler lines in the world today. Our goal is to produce top quality Rottweilers, free of health issues, and with a sound mind and stature of beauty. All dogs are sold with limited or full registration, which is my call, depending on the purchase agreement. If you are a first time Rottweiler buyer, I suggest
you do a lot of homework, as Rottweilers are a big responsibility. Most people fear the breed. Others who know better, love and respect the breed. They are lovable, protective, clowns, and love to please their family. A well trained and well socialized Rottweiler is the best dog a person can own! Obedience training and socializing with people is a must for a Rottweiler. They love people and love to work. If you don't have time to spend with them daily, you should consider a different breed. I have owned and bred Rottweilers for more than 25 years. At first, I just went out and bought a Rot from the newspaper. She was a loving dog, but had skin issues and a rye bite. Between her skin issues and thyroid issues, she was very costly. I later talked to a friend of mine, who's bother in law shows dogs. I asked his brother in law where I could get a top quality Rottweiler. He said the breed was being destroyed by American Back Yard Breeders. I told him that I loved Rottweilers and wanted to buy a top dog. He put me in touch with a man who imports Rotts and had shown CH Rotts for many years. I purchased my first quality Rottweiler: Enzo. What a dog!!! I then decided to buy a female, so I could possibly breed them. I got in touch with a German importer and purchased Dargo. I bred the two of them over the course of their lives. They produced beautiful pups. They got old and passed unfortunately, which left me with only Nyia, a daughter of Dargo. Nyia is my oldest living female to date. I wanted to get a lot more serious about breeding when I heard a lot of people having health issues and temperament issues from people that just wanted to make a quick buck. I say to them, "Shame on you!" What I would like to say, I will not. I want Rottweilers to become the breed of choice again, like it was before being ruined by those people (back yard breeders). I have invested 25 years of my life into researching the breed and more than $50K of my money and time in purchasing quality dogs from around the world so that I can offer a TOP DOG to my customers with a guaranty that they will be just that. In order to insure this happens and achieve these TOP DOG results, it does mean that you must feed them quality food and socialize and train them. I have done the rest. So if you think my dogs are over prices, that is your opinion and you are entitled to it. But I say you get what you pay for, and at my kennel, I guaranty the quality in writing. If you are still reading this letter, maybe you have what it takes to own one of my dogs. I look forward to hearing your comments,
Thanks,
Don and Cheryl Davies
P.S. Health issues (hip, eye, skin, temperament, etc.), can cost much more than a quality Rottweiler, Oh Yah! And will come with the purchase of a backyard dog.
