Question to adopters....let's say I build out a home on a few acres in Astoria, OR. Weather cool in Summer. Puppies pick up times only Feb thru October 1 due to rainy season. Coming from afar....would you still come that distance by driving or catching a flight n renting a car n drive across the 30 to pick up a pup or bring a Lab in for 2 months gun dog training? Will add a separate building for elk hunters n fishing season. The cabin available for adopters to stay in night before or I would pay for hotel stay nearby.

Danny just had her kids this morning. Larger of litter than I expected, available: 2 BLACK FEMALES, 2 BLACK MALES AND a surprise.........a light FOX RED MALE
Go home time weekend of Jan 25th.
Torch is the Dad, reason for the FR but Danny has zero yellow in her that's the reason for the surprise. But Mother Nature throws curve balls all the time.
I still have the price low due to the economy. My pricing will increase end of 2025, but for now dirt cheap price for a top quality parents full health clearances.
BTW, I LOVE LOVE LOVE everything that Torch makes. Level headed, not super high energy, easy to train, superb good looks, males normally are 65-72 lbs and the females from him 58-65 lbs. And for the hunters.......should be superb hunters.

My dear best friend Annette came out this Summer for the day with her girls, yes out of my litters---4 girls. Here are a few pics with her girls along with a sibling that I have.
1st photo is the last litter from Diamond and Hitch--her kid is the dark choc, Pretzel and the black is my girl, Keeper. Both very small.
2nd photo is on left her kid, Tink and on the right side of her, my gal Brooke. Parents Emma and Gage. Emma I saved from a very abusive field trial competitor life. Emma lived to age 11, DOD April 2022. She lived the last 60 percent of life with lots of love and zero pressure in life.
3rd Photo is Teka. Special girl. Another gal out of Emma and Gage born back in 2016. Teka looks a ton like her Grandma Grace. Grace started my kennel of kids and fun. Thank you Grace and God.

Back field and pond temps 60s to high of 78. Astoria fairgrounds No hook ups. $11 per night. The dogs and I spent most of the very very very very HOT Summer here. It was very hot elsewhere but not in this area Daily trips up the hill to a water faucet to refill 30 gallons into truck and daily shower in a private shower room.....again, only one there!!! Dogs stretched out, layed out, swam in the pond 10 ft from the truck, ran after little birds, fell asleep on the grass in the shade of the tree.
Had the 3 football size grass fields to ourselves w private road and 31 Elk herd at night and 3 local deer family under the Apple tree each night that you can see up to the left on the hill just across the pond where I parked under a HUGE tree. Yup, once landed in this area, the Summer Journey felt kissed by God.

I was treading water til the elections. The market and economy came to a stand still and while other Labrador Breeders went out of biz......I instead took a time out. Now the elections have carved a strong positive path.............I am glad I held on! Lots of sacrifices but it paid off.

I fell in love with this area and checked it out to buy land on a hilltop, log it out, above the line of Tsunami danger and build retirement home for dogs and I. Love love this area. It's cool in the Summer and that has always been my concern and complaint in the last 20 yrs is the increase of heat temps in the West during the Summers. Yes it rains and rains everyday from Oct thru Spring.....but I am lowering and monitoring my numbers of my dogs moreso now, so I can still take the trek to Los Banos, CA and allow the dogs and I to still enjoy the pristine grass fields and warmth and a LOT less rain there. Travel in the future for puppy adopters and gun dog training after I build a home there would be up 101 or up the 5 and head west on a very well kept Hwy 30. Very doable. Easier travel than it was 2018-2022 to the NE corner to Heppner area.

Jesse Jame, JJ.....what a stud! Sire to the breeding I am doing this week with my black girl, Breezy. Breezy is a small muscle packed girl dark fox red factored as her Dad is Torch. Just checked her hips and elbows. Elbows cleared easily enough and the HIPS are perfect, ball in tight in the socket!

Groovin' Groovy, this was taken this Summer out at Ana Reservoir SE Oregon in the Summerlake area. Irrigation District managed water for the farmers. Camping along the sides of the extremely blue clean water lake allowed. If seeking a water area w zero blue green algae here you go!~ Beautiful Desert area.
Groovy will be turning 4 in April and will finally be at a point to breed with her. She is small, a fierce hunting machine and the most incredible hazel and green eyes. This will be a special breeding with her as I lost her Mom Grace Girl a year ago to the mold from the home in Heppner. My last girl I lost to the mold and a year and half after being out of that dishonest home. I am still taking it hard losing Grace Girl.
Groovin' Groovy continues on the beauty and extreme hunting machines out of the chocolate line out of Grace.
In May will be breeding for chocs, both Groovy and Hope. Sire? Haven't decided. Will need to find one outside of my crew and a boy that is fully clean and cleared on health genetics and a proven hunter. Tough to find but will do so.

Happy Birthday! Chocolate is my Gage and the black male on right is Flint. Joy is their sister and I said goodbye to her back in April-darn! Today they turned 13 !!!! Let's hear it for clean health clearances and strong good DNA structure. /Parents: Grace and Pirate
Flint is the guy that is written about on my website under Testimonials. Flint came into me at age 5 months for gun dog training ...that's 12 and half yrs ago. The owner went off on a trip to Italy on a private sailboat and Flint came into me with a fox tail in his lung. No the owner did not know his dog had a fox tail burrowed into one of the lung walls.... it reared its ugly head 2 days after arriving into me for training. I took him immediately to OSU and 60 percent of his lungs were cut out. Saved. I was able to visit him in ICU everyday and I fed him bits and pieces of a McDonalds hamburger...of course, with cheese!! The owner called me 4 days later as he was just catching up with messages and asked if I thought of cremating him. Hah, I responded that we saved him and I just fed him a burger and hurry home. He is alive, well and breathing great and was a helluva hunting machine for his owner and best friend, Jim. Yep, ,Flint is a great story. I just treated Flint as if he was mine. I'm so thankful to God he has lived such a charmed life. This photo is just 30 days ago when I came down from Pac NW, I stopped at a rest area in Medford area and did a visit with our kids. Warms my heart in a serious way when I see my kids down the road.

The first 2 photos are the females I kept: Iris and Dreamer. I am pretty excited about these 2.
The last 2 photos are C**t and Winston, now 9 months age and I am now training on birds and gun shot. Will be ready for their new home and for hunting in Jan 2025. Yes, I am back to training for the gun dog.

RIP Joy. Been tough for me to announce here that I said goodbye to my sweet girl Joy back a few weeks ago. Her body was giving out on her and I did not want her to feel death. I miss her soo much, she was a fixture in my everyday life for 12 n half yrs. The girl I started my kennel w Grace was her Mom. I lost Grace 8 yrs ago, Joy extended my time with Grace as she had her great looks, sweetness and snuggled like her. I look at having Grace w me for almost 18 yrs. Thank you Joy for extending that time and thank you for loving me. It was your time to go and run in Heaven now. I miss you. It left a hole in my heart and my spot next to me in my truck is empty now.

Fun Day at Love's Labradors for a bunch of the 7-12 month olds!!!

This is my #1 Mommy within all of my dogs. She was retired the end of last year. She has always been a true Mommy. I have other girls that have been wonderful Mommies but not like her.....you can't train them to be an endearing Mommy, it has to be natural. She teaches all of my litters of puppies once they are at home on the ground (2 shots been administered) to play nice, go potty away from main area, fetch and love. I know she misses having her own puppies now. Grace you are my #1 little girl. Now, I will be calling my Mommy to wish her a Happy Mommies Day and let her know how much I miss her.
