The Uncommon Canine is dedicated to promoting thoughtful and caring relationships between dogs and their owners. Using reward-based training we strive to build confidence and understanding and to help dog owners be the leader their dog needs them to be. We offer group classes for basic dog obedience training, puppy training and socialization, canine good citizen, rally obedience, competitive obedi

ence, tricks and more. Private lessons and day training is offered for behavior concerns such as housebreaking, leash aggression, resource guarding, home alone problems, coming when called, etc. Training is provided by Joella Cunnington, CPDT-KA - certified by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. This is my 7-year-old Australian Shepherd, Dunkin’, doing Lure Coursing. Many of our clients ask me about lure coursing and what better way to show them, but with a video of my own pooch. I, of course, was not there to see this in person. I had to work to make money so my dogs can have fabulous adventures.
