I've been putting this off for a while now trying to find the right words, there are none. We lost Phoebe in April a few short weeks after her 15th birthday. The vet thinks she had a stroke and it was time. :(

Phoebe was a true Cinderella story. She had the perfect co-owner and companion home. They gave her everything she needed for a very long life. Phoebe and her co-owners spent time at many IAMRA events every year, including sled ride for rescue, Malawalk, etc... Phoebe was an amazing representative for the breed!

Phoebe turned out to be my first breeder, owner, handler AKC Ch taking BOSS at the 2011 reg/nat under Robin Hug. She achieved her UKC Ch with multiple group placements in a large working group. Phoebe achieved her International Ch with multiple BIS Bred-by wins, even going BOB over a top 20 special stopping at the event on their way home from the Denver AMCA National.

Fifteen years is never long enough for that one amazing companion dog! Phoebe has regained her alpha status over Chase and Cole! The Angel has wings!

Established in 1994, Ice Age Alaskan Malamutes is an AKC registered show and working kennel located in central IL dedicated to preserving the AKC Standard of this breed. Our Malamutes are bred to the correct size & breed type. We are blending top show lines from around the world to improve on health, temperament, and breed type.

Breeder/Owner/Handler of AMCA Nat/Reg Specialty winners in conformation and weight pull. Our first title was in obedience and we have had many champion & working titled Malamutes since that time. Most importantly, our Alaskan Malamutes enjoy, happy healthy lives as family companions. Ice Age Alaskan Malamutes excelling as family pets, show prospects, working, and/or therapy dogs.

Puppies bred for Health and temperament, to the AKC breed standard. Hips/Elbow/Patellar/Eyes/Cardio/PN clearances. 5yr written health warranty.
