In the beginning we all got these wonderful chickens. We soon learned that they were much more than walking clucking egg laying dinner. We learned that they are smart, feeling, funny, sentient beings. They are more human than you could ever imagine. But then that dreaded moment comes, and it comes to all chicken keepers alike, the day our feathered family members get sick. It doesn’t matter how clean you keep your coop, your shoes, wash your hands or the chicken dishes.... chickens are going to get sick. The first thing we do is google what is wrong with our chicken. We are met with a plethora of drug related treatments and the advice to go see a veterinarian that sees chickens, who will also prescribe strong medications as treatment options. You might be lucky enough to find a few homeopathic treatment options if you spend a lot of time sifting through the drug treatments.
This is what prompted us to take action, spend hours upon hours of research, create all natural remedies, test our hypothesis on sick birds and conclude solid, tested, and true homeopathic treatments. We still continue to do our research everyday to develop new and better treatments for various ailments. We personally don’t like taking the prescribed medications when we know there is a natural alternative. We would rather try the natural way before turning to medications. So why should this be any different for our pets, in this case pet chickens.
We are not veterinarians. We are not medically certified in any way. We want to makes this very clear. Any diagnostic testing such as f***l float test we perform for you is strictly preliminary. Any findings, must be confirmed by a licensed veterinarian. Any treatment options we may offer are just that, an offered suggestion. It is ultimately your responsibility to consider your options and chose what is best for your situation and if needed consult a licensed veterinarian before commencing treatment.
