ARL Dog Sports offers K9 Nose Work classes in Maryland and Northern Virginia. She has trained four of her own dogs using NASCW K9 Nose Work principles.

Ann Roseberry Lincoln, CNWI, has been interested in dog behavior from an early age. She once submitted a paper for her high school psychology class evaluating the hypothesis that dogs express emotions. (Her paper received a failing grade, since the prevailing belief at the time was that no animal aside from humans could possibly show emotion.) Several of her dogs have achieved high levels of recog

nition in nose work trials throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Ann also has a strong background in positive reinforcement training and dog behavior. She is excited to offer K9 Nose Work classes in Maryland and Northern Virginia using NACSW methods. In addition to training her dogs for nose work, Ann trains her dogs in sheep herding, another sport that requires reliance on the dog’s natural abilities.
