Despise tattooing! But we got it done today! Took care of the Guernseys now that they are ADGA registered and a few Nigerian adults I just keep putting off!!! Ready for our TB and Brucellosis testing this week for my State of Idaho Raw Milk License.

Everyone is confirmed bred via Ultrasound. 18 Does bred with a rough estimate of 38 babies to be expected! First doe is due 2/7 - 11 does due in February with last 2 stragglers in due in April. Last straggler is due 4/14. Take a look at the breedings paired up!

Kidding season will start in February 2025!

disclaimer: this information is from a multitude of sources, hopefully more of it is fact rather than fiction.

With a belgard towards my herd of Guernseys I rush to the mailbox. Our Association Manager stated the impediments have been removed. Guernsey registrations will be free flowing from the ADGA office. A self-imposed four-month time period has our office staff in rush mode. The nine year wait is over, the excuses are gone, the Guernsey breeders are rejoicing.

Starting Monday Natasha will be working nonstop on Guernsey Registrations

This part is fact:
Make sure your contact information with ADGA is correct. Phone number and E-mail address. If you receive a phone call from a North Carolina phone number answer it.
Make sure you have money in your account to pay for your registrations. Any delays may cause you to lose your place in line.

We retained heavily this year on guernsey doelings so most of them will be available for reservation! If you are at all looking at the Guernsey breed these are the reasons I love them!
Gentle, quiet, uncoordinated therefore easy on fencing lol, get along so well with my Nigerians, sweetest personalities in the world!, sweet milk like the Nigerians - all my customers LOVED my milk this year and 50% of it all year was guernsey and later in the year it became 90% and no one noticed!

We will start breeding in September for February kidding

This right here is why I love the Guernsey breed! This is Sid, 4 year old mature buck in full rut! As gentle as can be while I placed a camera over the fence he is on to monitor who is in heat. He just wanted to be touching me, resting his head on my hip while I worked and never did anything rough or being a nasty buck. Just a very gentle giant! Love this breed so much!!!!
