Jamaica Bay Riding Academy is a family-owned equestrian facility since 1972. We are located on 500 acres on the Gateway National Wildlife Preserve.

We offer some of the best horseback riding on the east coast. We are located in the Gateway National Wildlife Preserve, this park encompasses over 400 acres of manicured wooded trails and three miles of beach front riding specifically designated for horse enthusiasts. Jamaica Bay is a full-service boarding facility and additionally offers a vast variety of guided instructional rides, horseback rid

ing lessons, horse leasing, horse shows, summer camps, therapeutic riding, hunter paces, and more. Whether you are just becoming interested in horseback riding or have been an experienced rider for years, Jamaica Bay has something for everyone. Some of our amenities are a 160’ x 325’ outdoor arena, and a heated and air conditioned lounge with a view of our 200’ x 100’ indoor riding arena. We also offer an intermediate cross country course, an Olympic size dressage arena, 500 acres of beaches and trails, and a full tack and apparel tack shop. We are an Autorized Dealer for Ariat, DerDau, Charles Owen, Collegiate, Weatherbeeta, HDR, Simco, IRH, Vogel, and much more. We are pleased to announce that Jamaica Bay will be continuing our 11th season of IEA and AEL!! Our primary goal is to incorporate positive changes and progress for our students future. Our coaches are eager to teach the fundamentals of horseback riding,making it an enjoyable experience for all our dedicated students. 💫 🐴 🤩

A successful day at Princeton Horse Show for trainer Serafino Danza, and his students! Noelle Marino and her horse Chapala ET Z pinned 2nd in the PEL .90m jumpers as well as 2nd in the PEL 1.00m jumpers. Lili Atwood and her horse Blue Xanadus’ took home 3rd in the .70 jumpers and 4th in the .80 jumpers at their first ever show ! Congratulations to all our riders, what a great way to start the season 💫 🐴
