Donny Day dream and Ms Shaggy meet for the first time
Donny got to have his first real play date tonight! As I’ve mentioned Donny is looking for his forever home, he is very dog savvy and has excellent dog skills, he can use a dog door, he’s neutered and UTD in vaccines and is approx 2yrs old, he’s very leggy and prolly weighs 65lbs. He’s a little shy with new humans but came right up to Shaggy’s mom and said Hi so he’s making huge progress. This past week has been pretty stressful for me and my senior dog, Peggysue. She has a nasty skin infection, vaginitis and a UTI poor baby, all of this stems from an auto immune disease she has had for several years and is the reason why I’m so passionate about nutrition.
Anyhooo we are having to do medicated baths every other day and the shampoo needs to sit on her skin for about 15 minutes. Here’s what we do while that happens. Helping to form a great association with bath time (she already loves the blow dryer). Epic 2hr session 😵
