"If you haven't experienced Control Unleashed at Kinship Dog Training, you are missing out!!! I credit CU and pattern games for all of the success we had on Zeke’s first overnight backpacking trip! He was extremely eager to play Look at That with every person we passed on the trail, we used stream crossings as a cue for waiting up and checking in, and did a lot of matwork that resulted in a very settled tent dog. Zeke ❤️s the exciting life he gets to have because he is more engaged, responsive, and confident. CU is easily one of the best classes we’ve taken together and I use the tools anywhere and everywhere I possibly can!"

K9 Nose Work® is a game based on detection dog training where dogs are empowered to use their innate and amazing sense of smell, natural hunt drive, and problem-solving skills to find “hides” in a variety of locations.
Nose Work is a fun way to build confidence, independence, focus, resilience, and strengthen the bond you share with your dog. Appropriate for all ages, breeds, and abilities– there are no prerequisites!

Interested in dog agility, but not sure where to begin? Try our Pre-Agility Sports Prep! Dogs and handlers interested in ANY sport will benefit from the foundational performance skills taught by Karen in this 4-week class.
The body awareness, tricks and other skills such as targeting and advanced station work addressed in this class will get your dog interacting confidently and independently with objects in their environment. Rally Obedience at Kinship, back in April at a different time-- Fridays at 6:30pm!
All-Levels Rally is a class designed to improve rally skills for teams of any level, from those who have never trained for rally to teams working on Masters level. The class is taught in stations tailored to each team's skill level working on skills such as heeling, fronts, and finishes. Stations also include sequences of rally signs as well as focus on individual signs.

(FRIDAYS AT 3:45PM) Canine Parkour is a 4-week intro series into the world of urban agility. Build your dog’s confidence with this low impact but challenging activity that can be done anywhere! This growing sport is suitable for dogs of all sizes, ages, and capabilities. Skills covered include Get On (2 & 4 feet), Under, Go Around, Walk Back, and more.

**LIMIT 4 dog/handler teams per time slot, pre-registration IS REQUIRED**
We will be offering 4 different time slots throughout the week for DROP-IN Nosework practice! Classes will meet on Tuesdays and Fridays at the Studio. Completion of Nosework Foundations or equivalent experience is required. Dogs do not need to be "on odor" to take this class, and exercises will be modified so that they are appropriate for all levels.
These drop-ins are designed for dog-handler teams who have already begun their scentwork journey, but are looking for additional practice. We will work a rotating variety of odor puzzles in the elements of interiors, exteriors, vehicles, and containers.
