**FINDING FUR-EVER IRIS now POPPY** Phoenix AZ. Oh, what a difference some TLC makes. Our girl Iris and her sisters Poppy and Violet spent the first couple months of their lives living under a shed in the dirt infested with ants. How these girls made it our relatively unscathed we will never know. They never knew human touch, love and a feeling of safety and security. They had to learn that not all humans are bad and living inside is heaven on earth. Our girl Iris was very shy and it took her a while to come out of her shell with anyone new she met. She was very under socialized and just scared. She went into a wonderful foster home that helped her get used to new sights, sounds, smells and that new experiences like going to the park could be fun. On one of her outings, she met what would become her new mama. Iris has found her fur-ever home and a new sister Piper to boot! Just look at the before and after and the positive direction her life was able to take. We are happy we got to help her have a chance at the life she deserves. **DEVOTED DORI** Age 1yr Phoenix AZ. Dori is the perfect pocket pitty! She is a lover of dogs big and small male and female. She is potty trained, dog door trained, and kennel trained. National Rescue Dog Day

**HAPPY NATIONAL RESCUE DOG DAY-MAY 20th** National Rescue Dog Day brings with it a promise of love, friendship, and kindness. Each year, millions of animals, specifically dogs, are abandoned by their owners and end up on the streets. Many of these dogs are also a result of overpopulation due to dogs not being spayed or neutered. Adopt don't shop is the motto of every rescue, shelter and human volunteer. Over 3 million dogs enter a shelter home each year. Yearly over 1.4 million animals are euthanized in our country's shelters. He could tell she had recently given birth and had a look of urgency and sadness in her eyes. The good Samaritan found Fur The Paws online and reached out to us to see if we could help. We of course said YES! This is what we do and why we are in this community, to help people and animals in need of a helping hand. Callie stayed with one of our amazing fosters to heal her body and her soul. Then when she was all ready she found her fur-ever home and a new mama who spoils her rotten! **LOVELY LUNA** Age 1 Phoenix AZ. >>>>UPDATE: ADOPTION PENDING<<<< Luna was part of a Litter that wasn't expected/wanted (accident) and she and a few others were pushed out to the street. This little Girl was helped by a family that thought she wouldn't get that big...fast forward a few months and Luna now weighs in at 80lbs. This princess pup is so docile, sweet, loving and playful. She LOVED playing dress-up and let us costume her and she sat so still for her photo shoot. Luna is a gentle player and lets us take cheweys from her with no issues. Look who’s turning 50 this month🥳 Fur The Paws Founder Elizabeth has just one wish for this milestone birthday....well two actually....and that is for Royalty and Callie to find their fur-ever families!! These girls are the sweetest and would make the most amazing addition to any family! Rosy Royalty is a 2.5yr old gorgeous American PB Terrier/Boxer mix of unbridled happiness. She weighs in at about 49lbs. Royalty is super smart, likes dogs of all sizes but has the most experience with dogs smaller than her, she is not destructive, is potty trained, great on a leash and LOVES going anywhere in the car. She has an amazing temperament for kids! Captivating Callie is a stunning approx. 3yr old American PB Terrier mix of pure love. She weighs in at about 41lbs. It is her turn to just be the puppy we do not believe she ever got the chance to be. Callie is a total lovebug that loves her fur-foster-siblings big and small, she is potty trained, uses the doggie door, loves walks and rides in the car. Both of our girls are spayed, UTD on shots, fully vetted and microchipped. The only thing they are missing is a fur-ever family to feel safe and loved with! **ROSY ROYALTY** Age 2yrs Phoenix AZ. SERIOUSLY....what's a girl gotta do to get some attention? Royalty checks all the "must haves" in the family dog category....but she is still homeless! *Royalty is great with all dogs of all tiny sizes and ages. *She is really smart and catches on to direction/correction and training very fast. *She is a good listener, is potty trained and knows how to use the doggie door. *She has a sweet loving personality and loves attention from her peeps! *She is not destructive and LOVES playing tug-of-war and fetch. *She has the best temperament for kids. *She loves all people so kids would really benefit her. Royalty is a beautiful all black American PB Terrier mix who is spayed, UTD on shots, microchipped and weighs in at 49lbs. She is great on the leash, loves walks and trips anywhere in the car. Royalty is a bit of an oddball with her play. She does phenomenal with the little, tiny dogs, she plays with them like crazy and tolerates them jumping all over her and biting her BUT when it comes to larger dogs, she tolerates the calm ones but will NOT engage in playing with them.
