We are not a shelter. All dogs are in foster homes. Volunteering is not always easy!

Too many animals are in shelters today, more than ever before because of the poor economy and a lack of dedication to our furry friends. You can not save the world, but surely it will change the world for that one animal you are able to provide a life full of warmth, affection, kindness, good healthy food and clean water to name but just a few. Sometimes we have to say goodbye to a dog that we rea

lly want or just flat out love. Finding permanent homes is often difficult but always very rewarding! When you know you've helped to make a good match, a match that seems it was meant to be, you feel proud and satisfied. Maybe a little sad to say goodbye to your foster friend, but you'll always know that it was you that helped to find him a home for life. The alternative to rescuing, fostering, and finding permanent homes for some shelter dogs is death. So, if fostering an animal is something you feel incapable of doing right now in your life, volunteer in some other way. Karmic Connections Animal Rescue provides rescue, fostering, and cats and dogs for adoption. Located in the San Francisco South Bay Area, Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Palo Alto, San Jose and nearby cities. We currently rescue and assure safe and humane care for dogs and cats that need a second chance. Gandhi has been an inspiration to millions for decades. One of his famous quotes in relation to humanity was this, "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way in which its animals are treated. I hold that the more helpless a creature, the more entitled it is to protection by man from the cruelty of man,"

One of the key components of SCIL's sponsored ACR 86 was a call for more free or low-cost spay and neuter programming. In order for those programs to operate efficiently, there is a great need for veterinarians who are proficient at doing high-volume surgeries.

Senator Wilk's SB 1233 directs the two California veterinary schools to create high-quality, high-volume training programs.

Right now, we need all rescue organizations to please sign up to support SB 1233 on our How-to-Help page. It's easy and quick... all you need to do is fill in the information and upload your logo and signature. We will do the rest!
