We have 5 club members (4 Instructors + 1 Assistant) with 6 dogs who made the cut for the 2025 AKC Rally Nationals Competition at Purina in July. What a great achievement!

Congratulations to everyone on SMDTC’s 54th Year! 🐾
As we close out 2024 we want to express our appreciation to the 15 Instructors who taught 90 classes! Their expertise and guidance helped dogs in the community become better citizens and helped members succeed in earning 200+ titles this year. 🏆

Today was our last day of Home Manners. We reviewed a little then had some awesome demos! Thx Pauline and Poppy and Melissa and Gus for the demos! In the first pic Poppy (cutest elf ever) alerts on a box for a Scentwork demo. Gus has excellent success also w his alert! Team Gus did an awesome demo of advanced obedience exercises!! The class could see how everything they learned starts w building on various beginning exercises. In the next pic Winston won the sit stay contest at almost 60 seconds! Way to go. He happily pics out his prize! I have another video of our crawl contest and will post in the comments (if face book will let me!) thank you to my excellent assistants Pauline Pitcher and Carol Conley as my assistants for this great class. 🐾

Today’s Fast CAT fun run was really a great afternoon. The weather cooperated and … no rain! If you missed it well let’s just say you missed out on running dogs, good food, hot cider, hot cocoa, great conversation and of course Xmas lights. The running track is lit w pretty lights. Thx Melissa for adding more lights and they will be lit all of December! So we hope you drive by to see how the track looks at night! (Word has it there will be more for Xmas 2025!) Thx to all that helped make it a really fun day! 🐾🎄🐾
