MICHIGAN- We are a small group of animal loving volunteers. Misfit Angels does not have a facility/shelter. We are foster based rescue only. We are honest and forth coming about all of our dogs we place for adoption. We, for the life of the pet will be at your assistance if any problems should arise in the future. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, current on all vaccines, microchipped, heartwor

m tested (treated if positive) and treated for any injury prior to adoption. We provide as much information as we know prior to their new beginning with Misfits, along with our own experiences while with Misfits. Our adoptable dogs have basic training, house training and unless otherwise noted crate training. Dogs entering our organization are allowed time to decompress so we are able to

This is Vic.
He was left behind when his family was evicted. To top things off they set the house on fire 🔥
So this little guy found himself with the DFD 🚒 heroes.
Thank you 🙏 for saving him, having him groomed, keeping him safe until rescue 🛟 was found!
He’s with foster mom Mary, ty for opening your heart 💞 and home 🏠 always!

Pez was a thief at his vet appt today! 😱
He was also a perfect gentleman for his X-rays.. he still needs to take it easy BUT we are almost there 🙏
This petite boy does love other dogs 🐶 , goes to drama 🎭 class, great in the car 🚘, & can’t wait to have a family of his own!

🐾Sweet Jane is in for heartworm treatment today 😭 such a painful treatment that is SO damn preventable. Heartworm prevention YEAR ROUND. No breaks for winter months!!!

🐾Pez is going in today for his final leg xray and hopefully 🤞 he can get off all restrictions & find his furever home 🏠

Need some positive vibes over here in Misfit land.

🥘Nacho Casserole🥘

11-12 years, Rat terrier mix, 35 pounds

🫡 Crate trained (though doesn’t need one) house trained

🤫He’s so quiet, I have yet to hear him bark

He’s FREE!
Junior 2.. Now, Jerry Junior was released from Wilson Veterinary Hospital after a 3 day stay.
IV fluids & antibiotics made him feel like a new man.
🐾his wounds are superficial, the fluid in his neck is gone
🐾He has a recheck in 7 days, his ears have quite a bit of healing to do
Jerry Junior has a great appetite now, taking his many meds well.

🥲he’s wagging now too

😢Junior 2 update from Wilson’s

Last night the Dr called -
Finally his temp was normal & they were able to put him under for a full exam
This poor boy 😢
👉drain tubes are not needed. The 2 areas on his neck that were swollen have gone down & are now saggy elephant skin, due to his skin condition, which is good its just sad
👉his ears 😭 the right has an abscess, the left is filled with infection. These ears have been infected a LONG time. The Dr wanted to send out cultures so we can see exactly what is going on ($352 for both cultures)
👉It is possible that he will need TECA surgery in both ears (removal of entire ear canal) BUT we are sending out the cultures to see, with meds, if that can be avoided.
👉THEN, he has slight entropion (inverted eyelids) in both eyes. But gaining some much needed weight may help this.
👉Shocking, no mites were found on the skin scrape, just a ye**ty mess

🩺So he’s gonna hang out there for awhile longer, hes on IV, getting the care he needs 🙏

Wilson Veterinary Hospital gave him a bath 🛁 while he was under, he was sooo greasy.

They will be sending some pics 📸too

🐾Adeline went in for spay yesterday, when Amy picked her up she acted like nothing happened, so she’s that girl 🤣 she will be available soon! Dog 🐶 & Cat 🐱 friendly, she’s a little fireball ☄️

🥘Nacho went in for neuter & dental 🦷 yesterday, he also had a little fatty growth by his wiener so that was removed also. He had a hard time coming out of anesthesia so this will be the last time he goes under, but it was a necessity.
The surgical team at All About Animals FLINT, were SO amazing making sure my boy was ok, even stayed after thier shift. I appreciate you! 🖤Big shout out to Kim & Dr Wendy!!!
Nacho will be available after hes healed! Truly a gentle, perfect size boy, dog 🐶 friendly, cat 🐱 friendly & a lover 💕of all humans!

💔RESCUED LATE LAST NIGHT💔
The police seen this guy on a porch in Flint, he was attacked by 4 dogs where he LIVES, police took him to local vet for help.
🐾Bill from Streethearts stepped in so he wouldn’t be euthanized. He needed another rescue to help, take him in & get him to an ER vet fast.

Rose 🌹 text me as I didn’t see the post, Bill set up transport to Wilson’s - Thank you Victoria & Mom- I met them there.

(There is an owner surrender, so one thing at a time regarding neglect & pure lack of care)
😢He was admitted.. 10 years old, He has SO many bite wounds, skin condition, emaciated. His name is Junior 2 at Wilsons.
Looking at a 3-5 day stay.
WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🙏

😢This is 4 week old Rolly Polly Tater (foodie face)
She came into a local vet & was -thankfully- surrendered, she wasn’t eating or drinking, loaded with worms 🪱 & a UTI.
❗️Where’s mom? She was shot. ❗️Where’s siblings? Was told there weren’t any 🤔
Now she is eating (a lot), drinking and with a foster -Thanks Melissa- where there are other dogs 🐶 , cats 🐱& kids 👧 too as she will need all the socializing she can get.
