All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, curre

nt on all vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested (treated if positive) and treated for any injury prior to adoption. We provide as much information as we know prior to their new beginning with Misfits, along with our own experiences while with Misfits. Our adoptable dogs have basic training, house training and unless otherwise noted crate training. Dogs entering our organization are allowed time to decompress so we are able to

I'm Mateo Matthew James! I'm a 2 year old, Bulldog/Staffy mix, weighing 47 pounds, and I'm ready to steal your heart. I'm a big ol' puppy at heart, and I love everyone I meet! I'm great in the car, and I love going on walks and exploring the world around me.

Like I said , I’m a big puppy at heart.

These 2 newbie Misfits need your help with ❗️NEW NAMES❗️

🫣Blonde shy boy is 4 1/2 years old, 13 pounds
🥲Naked boy is 6 1/2 years old, 12 pounds

Both were owner surrenders through a local outreach.
Severely flea infested, ear infections, looooong nails, we are hoping for negative heartworm 🪱tests.

‼️‼️Warning: 4th of July fireworks can turn your pet into a hot mess! But it's not just about the stress – it's also the most popular time of year for pets to go missing! 😱

Keep those fur babies safe and sound with some simple tips:
✅keep them indoors (no peeking at the fireworks, it's scary!)🛌🛋️📺
✅provide a cozy safe space, and stuff those Kong toys with treats to distract them from the booms. 🦴🧸🎾
✅Make sure their ID tags and microchips are up to date, and consider a temporary fence or extra secure gates to prevent any great escapes. 🆔
✅✅Let's keep those fur babies calm, safe, and by our side this 4th of July! 🐶❤️

Bria! Lil grey girl found her way right into her foster moms heart ❤️
🙁Bria had a Super rough start in life, the hope was to rehab and rehome her.
But after months and months of working with her to get her adoptable she just wasn’t ready for strangers or the outside world & is clearly comfortable right where she’s at.
🖤Thank you Amy for fostering and saving her life. 🖤
This is not a foster fail. This is saving a dogs life when they just arent adoptable in the big world.

Exclusive images obtained by our sources show Jello, the popular foster pup, swimming in the n**e in her foster home's pool. The photos, which were captured by a “trusted source” , have sparked debate among fans and critics alike.

Some have defended Jello's actions, citing her youth and innocence. Others have criticized Jello for her disregard “lady like etiquette and decorum “

But as Jello's adorable grin and playful demeanor shine through in the photos, it's clear: this pup's got the kind of charm that'll make everyone forget all about the controversy.

This silly, small girl is "Frenzy" - approx. 5 year old Pit Mix, around 48lbs.

Frenzy loves ALL humans, & loves attention.

🦴For the sake of transparency, when Frenzy first came to rescue, she was extremely dog reactive. Fast forward to now, in her foster home, she can be near other dogs through barriers (gates, fence, crate) with no issue. She even now shows play behavior towards other dogs. 👉This is a very controlled & zen environment, which she has thrived in. Do we think she could live with a dog sibling? The answer is, possibly. She does get very excited with change & newness in her environment (example being, when meeting new people) - so acclimating to a dog sibling would take some 🧘‍♀️patience & time (meaning, likely several meets.) - We would recommend no cat siblings for her.

Frenzy came as a stray & it was clear both from her physical & mental state, that she was a street-savvy girl that knew how to survive on her own. What that means for the here & now, & her future, is that she will require either a 6 foot/privacy fence, or a tie-out situation under supervision (not left out unattended in a yard) - or she could live with no fence, with several walks throughout the day on leash.

🦄She is comical, quirky, likes to "talk back" & croon sometimes, gets the funniest bouts of zoomies, loves being outside, is very treat/food motivated. She would love a person or family to call her own that will spoil her like she's never had before coming to rescue.
