We welcome rescues, fosters, potential adopters, donors & sponsors! Berkeley Animal Center is a Municipal Animal Shelter for Berkeley County, South Carolina currently located at 502 Cypress Gardens Road Moncks Corner, SC 29461. Berkeley Animal Center is the ONLY Animal Shelter located in Berkeley County and currently only has 8 paid employees. Berkeley County is LARGER in size than the state of Rh

ode Island, that has approximately 21 Animal Shelters to serve it's population. Berkeley County is one of the fastest growing counties in the state of South Carolina. Our urgent needs are constantly increasing as our population rapidly expands. RESCUES: New rescues - please email your 501c3 Non-Profit Declaration Form to [email protected] along with your requirements and any exceptions or things you prefer to pull. Berkeley Animal Center currently does not charge a pull fee to 501c3 Non-Profit Rescues. Only 501c3 Non-Profit Rescues are eligible to pull from Berkeley Animal Center. (Only exceptions are if a rescue is in the process of obtaining their 501c3 status and have proof of submission.) TO PULL - Comment on the post and send us a message just to make sure we see it! From there we will work out all additional details. FOSTERS & VOLUNTEERS: BAC Fosters & Volunteers - Please join our support page at: facebook.com/groups/bacppfosters for info and help.. If you would like to foster an animal posted on this page, comment on the post as well as message us to insure we see your request. DONORS: We thank you incredibly for your generous donations! We solely rely on donations from our community to help save the lives of the animals of Berkeley County. We always are in need of funds for medical care, supplies for our fosters and volunteers, enrichment items for animals in our care, etc. SPONSORS/PLEDGES: Urgent animals listed here OFTEN rely upon sponsorships or pledges to assist in rescue interest, transport or for medical care needed. These are lifesaving funds that help make the difference in some animal's fate. Sponsorships and pledges are always transferred to pulling rescues. If you do pledge, please make sure to follow through once the animal has commitment.. NETWORKERS: Please, please, please SHARE, SHARE, SHARE! Berkeley Animal Center is a Municipal Animal Shelter for Berkeley County SC. Rescue Friends of BAC is a group of animal lovers who want to save those we can. The shelter is limited on space and funds and needs the help of rescue groups. Without them we would be forced to make some hard choices about who can and cannot be saved. The post on this page are for rescue, transport and fundraising with the end goal being to save each and every animal we post.
