I can’t believe this boy has not sold yet! This is the kind of horse that everyone needs on their farm. I loped him in a halter yesterday and it’s sooo smooth(he hasn’t loped under saddle in years). Gus can sit for weeks or ride him everyday. He rides the exact same every time. 🥰🐎 Until y’all come to try/buy him, I’m going to enjoy these amazing calm rides! His price is a steal for the quality of horse you are getting!

17 yr old buttermilk buckskin, quarter horse gelding. Stands 15.1/2 hands tall. Calm, no spook , trail horse. Solid riding horse. Sweet personality.
Drops his head to halter. Easy to catch. . stands quietly for grooming and tacking. Not pushy while feeding. Loads, bathes, fly sprays. Everything about Gus is wonderful. This boy looooves the trails! Hop on and hit the trails type guy. Point him where you want to go. Have taken him out alone and did great. Sped his walk up and maybe tried to jog a few strides on the way back, but nothing uncontrollable. Does great with another horse. With his floaty trot, he would even make a cute English horse for a youth!!! ❤️ Vaccinations and coggins updated in August!

Gus does have an old scar on his left hind leg. Was there before current owner got him. Said to be old barbwire injury. Gus has not made an unsound step due to this, just looks cosmetic. Only other vice is Gus will crib for just a minute after eating his grain. He is not an obsessive/destructive cribber. A collar would probably stop him from completely doing this, but he generally cribs twice after he eats and then goes and grazes and I never see him do it again until after eating. These are the only vices I have found about this guy and would rather be upfront. He is worth his weight in gold and would be the horse that you would want to have for all your non horsey friends to be able to ride and feel safe. These guys are so hard to come by.

Hi everyone! Have a friend that is looking for a quarter horse to show some ranch classes with. Her budget is lower (under 3###). Needs something at least green broke to ride and take to shows. Thankful for this beautiful day and a great ride with a friend! ❤️🎅🏻🐴 Cruise hasn’t been ridden in close to 2 months due to weather/work/traveling. He was a great boy as always!
