We hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving!!🦃 We are SO thankful for our Aussies, our forever families, & our FUTURE forever families!! Now on to Christmas!!🎄Thank you Waylon🐾 & his parents for our 1st Christmas card!! They had a BIG year👰🏼‍♀️🤵🏻 & hope to welcome another furbaby🐶 into their home next year!👏🏻

Along with Spring comes new life! We are excited to announce Molly & Wrangler’s beautiful litter of 7!💙💗 They are STANDARD AKC purebred Australian Shepherds. Their tails are docked & dewclaws removed. They will be UTD on all vaccinations, dewormings, & will have a vet health clearance prior to pickup.✅ All puppies will have completed the ENS protocol & both parents have been tested & cleared for eyes, elbows, & hips. Puppies will be ready for their forever homes starting May 21st.🏡 We prefer pickup at our farm in central Illinois but have also shipped/delivered in close to 40 different states! If interested send us a PM today (serious inquiries only please!) And please do us a favor & like, follow, & share us with friends!❤️

Puppies & Kids.❤️

Before “Pilcher Farms” came into existence we knew 2 things..
1. We wanted to start a family some day &..
2. Before we did we wanted DOGS!🐾

But not just aaany type of dog..we wanted to make sure it was the “right” breed for our future family. We considered Huskies, Bloodhounds, Great Pyrenees, & Bernese Mountain Dogs but after extensive research & discussion we decided that the standard Australian Shepherd breed was the one for us!✨We loved that they were highly intelligent, could adapt to living on the farm or in the city, had unique coat & eye colorizations, were active, had a natural herding instinct, were great with families, & the “wiggle butt” really sealed the deal!🥰 Almost 10 years later we are still SO thankful we made that decision.

Now our kids get to be a part of the Aussie world..from literally watching them be birthed, to completing ENS, to learning responsiblity by taking care of them, to being a part of photoshoots (hence the photo below!😍), to play & bath times, to vet appointments, & to puppy pickup day. We are so thankful that they get to be there for each & every step.❤️

Our hope & advice for ANYONE looking for a dog is to do exactly what we did. Do.your.research. Whether it’s buying a purebred or a combination of breeds find out the breed(s) demeanor, expectations, natural instincts, & musts it’ll need in its forever family. This not only sets the dog up for success but also will promote a healthy understanding & bond to make sure YOU are truly their forever family!❤️

Update on Mr. Nimbus..❤️
“We took Mr. NIMBUS out to lunch today. He did great with his service dog training. He ignored our server when another server came by. He whined and barked! That server that he whined and barked at has typed 1 diabetes! His blood sugar was drastically dropping!
To think this pup was purchased from Pilcher Farms!”

They are AKC purebred standard Australian Shepherds. They have tails docked, dewclaws removed, will be UTD on vaccinations & wormings, have a vet health clearance, & completed ENS prior to going to their forever homes March 15th!🏡 Parents have been cleared for hips, elbows, & eyes through testing &/or genetics.
