Life has taught me that nothing is guaranteed. Living "risk free" does not keep you safe. Not taking that chance or leap of faith is a bigger failure than to take the chance and fall on your face. At least you learn and grow from failure. Dennis and I have made the decision to Not be stagnant in our retirement. We want new stories to tell rather than retelling all the old stories of " When we were young" so on Saturday morning, we head out for an adventure. Making new memories, meeting new people, doing things that scare us a bit. We choose life while we are still blessed with good health. And life should be an adventure! Do you have a demanding boss? I do! Piper is in charge of when she gets fed, and when her babies get fed. She is currently telling me that I can't finish watching my show because it is time to feed the babies again. She even tells me when it is time to put them to bed. Dogs do talk but only to those who know how to listen.
