So as most know us here in western NC have been completely devastated by Hurricane helene, we are at one of the bad areas hit . We lost our only vehicle to the flash flood and my husband was trapped by 6 foot of water at the plant he works at . The devastation honestly hasn't been truly covered by the news media , roads are completely gone due to mass mudslides , so many people missing and the death count is going to be the worst our area as ever seen , the last few days bodies are being found everywhere, either due to the storm or being land locked with no help and passing away. It's sad that we haven't received true help in our mountain towns this will take years to overcome .
My husband is now out of a job and we have no vehicle, we do need any help we can get at this point any small amount helps , the stress of not knowing and the grief of what's around us is hard to bare , I still have family I haven't heard from up in the worse more remote parts of the mountain.
It's so unbelievably sad how everyone feels so let down by our state and the media .

She has took to her new home extremely well and loves all the other animals and sticks by her mom's side ! These updates hearing such good news makes all the time and effort put into rasing and training these pups from birth to home well worth all the work 💕 we do our best to raise pups who can go be forever best friends and make beautiful memories for their families.

I make this mothers pudding everyday for my girls when they have a litter I always have good weights on my pups and moms and makes rich milk for the babies . I use fresh duck and quail eggs from here at the farm.

So a little explanation of the daily beginning of gentle handling desensitization:
Rub ears
Cover eyes
Open mouth run fingers around gums
Rub belly
Run hand down back and tail
Touch paws
Tap nails
Run fingers around a collar
Touch their nose
To finish hold them close to your heart until they settle and you feel them melt into as relaxation, this will continue until the puppies leave me with different things added as they get older to help them adjust to different sensory situations, aswell as the different daily noise exposures that I will get a few videos of later ❤️
I will continue doing this daily as part of their weekly curriculum, and document each puppy .

These two sweet babies are looking for their families , both are super cuddly and calm 💕
They are from health tested parents and they are worked with daily with the badass breeder curriculum and training, which I document for the family to veiw .
I will continue to work with them on the daily badass breeder curriculum and document their progress as they grow. We start puppies out for success by putting in all the extra work desensitization, new places, tactile items and beginning them in training like recall and focus foundation training, so the transition to their new home is so much easier on everyone! Their first vaccine will be done by my vet so that you have correct paperwork to easily transfer to your veterinarian (alot of breeders don't do this and do un proper vaccines at home themselves and can cause vets to start a vaccine series over) and a f***l check
They will be ready August 24th

Update on the current litter.
Turning 1 week old yesterday, keeping me busy making sure everyone is healthy and worked with daily . Trying to enjoy them while I can 😭 they grow up too fast.

So proud of my girl her and my first title and metal ❤️ Phoenix was bred by me and trained by me , will now be working on her intermediate title , the litter that is about to be born is a repeat of the litter Phoenix was from , I will have some available!

So I have been not posting as much as I normally have and will probably still not due to my health getting worse , my trouble breathing and coughing for breath had gotten so bad had a breathing test done and I have somehow developed asthma, so I will need an in home nebulizer machine a rescue inhaler and a stronger inhaler. I have also been having bad black out dizzy spells atleast 6 or more times a day while up doing normal activities, I have a massive heavy pressure come over my head , I have to hold onto something and stop moving while it's happening or I feel like I'm going to fall and pass out , it also causes my vision to go and be blacked out so I have to close my eyes until it's over . After each one I feel extremely weak and have to take my time , i am going next week to be fitted for a 14 day hoilter monitor my dr seemed worried about my heart with these symptoms.I already have an insanely long laundry list of other problems, Chari malformation of my brain , herniated discs and foraminal stenosis in my neck,hashimodos thyroid disease, carpel tunnel,cervical nerve root disorder, subacromial bercitus of left shoulder, lumber nerve root disorder, injury of left brachial plexus sequela,arthritis in my lower back,right desentagrated patella, aniexty attacks, depression ,insomnia, high blood pressure and cholesterol,vertigo episodes (I feel into a chainlink fence and cut my eyelid open and had to go to the er) thoracic outlet syndrome and the neck part of my spine isn't curved correctly.
So I will be slowing down and trying to de stress so I'm not so wide open trying to do everything myself.
I do have anas last litter coming up but I plan to take a year break before doing anything breeding wise and hopefully start feeling better, I will still post pictures and updates as I can though so you guys will still be able to see what the pups are up to ❤️

When I started the small farm my idea was to keep ducks and quail for my dogs , since really there isn't a dogfood fresh as straight from a farm you rasied. So today I'm making duck with fresh carrots, blueberries and pineapple. Duck is full of vitamins and a neutral protein, plus the broth will soak up all the good stuff from the bones before I pick all the meat off and toss them.
