Taking my time with any client is a must…add in a newly rescued puppy and it’s the most important first step ( in many steps) to a successful Peticure appointment. Yes, the purpose of the appointment is to get your dogs nails shorter… but the “getting there” part is a whole other experience. I’m dedicated to setting each dog up for success, and using things like flower essences and crystals help to balance a dogs energy. Staying sensitive to be able to meet dogs where they’re at… just like people, dogs go through different experiences and therefore form their own opinions, different view points. So being aware and sensitive to this is the way to start working with them, and gently guiding them, showing them what I want , what I’d like to do and waiting for them to understand and accept a PETICURE 💓 Really meeting a dog where they are at ( their mind, energies) and then I can begin to understand how to move them forward.
