I currently have an overabundance of duck eggs. $3 per 6 count both washed and unwashed eggs available.

Please remember ducks are not as tidy as chickens and will literally bury their eggs in dirt and mud so unwashed eggs are not as pretty. Examples of both below. I have 3 green egg layers and 1 white/speckled layer so there will be quite a few green eggs available.

What no one tells you about pet sitting is that one day you will find yourself sitting on freezing cold pavement in 40 degree weather trying to get an outdoor cat to come to you so you can take him to the vet. Meanwhile said cat is taunting me from the other side of the yard. At this point I may lose my mind... or whats left of it.

Today I had some much needed time off. I washed the dishes, did some laundry, unclogged the sink and most importantly CLIPPER MAINTENANCE!!!

After a few uses clippers become clogged with hair, dirt & debris. When that happens the clippers do not cut as well and can cause the clippers to pull at your pets fur. Ouch! So every few uses I break down any of the blades I have used and clean out the fur and dirt. I then oil the parts that need it and put them back together. I also use brushes to clean out the clippers themselves as well. It can be time consuming and frustrating as I am not mechanically inclined but I feel it is so incredibly important and therefore found videos and articles to learn how to do it myself.

One reason I give time ranges for pet care is because of things that come up unexpectedly. Today I am running an hour behind because the car in front of me clipped this little guy sending him flying into my windshield. After getting caught in my wiper blade I stopped and pulled him out. Poor dear was still alive so last minute change of plans had me driving 30 minutes away to the wildlife center and then another 45 mins to the job I had originally been on my way too.

Life happens y'all, animals don't care about my schedule and sometimes turtles come soaring through the air and mess up my plans. When any of the above happens all I can do is be the best person I can and try my best. Please be patient with me.

Here's to hoping this little guy is no longer in pain!

I had one last job to do tonight after Link (our new puppy) went to get his vaccines. My boys waited very patiently in the car while I walked 2 very old pups.

**Update**
Baby bun was taken to the wildlife center where he will recieve care. Hopefully the little guy makes it.

Just found this little baby in my client's driveway. I thought it was dead and picked it up to dispose of it before I brought the pup out for a walk and he moved just barely. He was so cold he was stiff. After tucking him in my bra to warm him up I managed to find honey for his gums and a heating pad. That brought him around pretty quickly. Still waiting for the wildlife center to contact me back so until then this little one gets to ride around with me. The things I do for animals...

Did you know we clip mats for cats and dogs in your home. Please do not use scissors! It can be dangerous both for your pet and for you if the pet doesn't respond well. We have proffessional clippers with different size blades so that we can carefully and quickly remove the mats on your pet. Beautiful weather for a stroll or 2 in the park today. These pups had a good time despite the wind. My feet are worn out but it was totally worth it!
