Thank you to everyone who visited our market during the 2024 market season. The October 19th Market was our final market of the 2024 season. We had a great season this year and our loyal shoppers make it possible for us to provide you the great local products from our family of vendors. We were able to provide a wide variety of locally grown produce, pasture raised meats, wonderful baked goods & other prepared foods, and locally created arts and crafts from a large number of local artisans.. Our wonderful vendors make this market a true community of small business owners that provide unique products that can truly enrich the lives of our shoppers, providing to their nutritional needs and joy from their creative efforts.

A special thank you goes out to our partners in this initiative. Especially LHUCA, CASP, and Sustainable Food Center of West Texas. LHUCA (The Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts) provides us with a comfortable and beautiful environment to host our market in their aesthetically pleasing Plaza. CASP (Charles Adams Studio Project) 5th & J Complex generously provides us a back up location across the street when the LHUCA Plaza is unavailable. SFC (Sustainable Food Center of West Texas) is our nutrition assistance partner that provides the infrastructure for us to offer SNAP, Double Up Texas food bucks, and WIC vouchers to our shoppers who have special needs. We would also like to thank all of our other neighbors in the Downtown Arts District for welcoming us into their community. These partners and neighbors help us provide the unique environment the LDFM provides to our shoppers and their assistance is truly appreciated.

I would also like to thank the team that helps me run the market each week. Paul Bullock & Mary Gates create the weekly market reviews and help me promote the market through photos and videos. Cherilyn and Toby help provide assistance in maintaining the market info and nutrition assistance desks among other duties. We've got a good team!

The Lubbock Downtown Farmers Market looks forward to returning next year. The 2025 market season will return every Saturday (9:00 AM until 1:00 PM) for 21 weeks starting on May 31st and going through October 18th. We hope everyone that supported the LDFM this season will continue to support us next season.

Best Wishes,

Chuck Green
