Hey friends! It's been a while since I posted. Unfortunately I've been experiencing burn out. I love my dogs that I groom but I am worn out after a few dogs. I mostly groom dogs that have behavioral problems and can't go to other salons. What do you suggest to help to keep going after fighting with several dogs a day?

So I get fleece blankets and have my mom embroider dog names and a cute dog image on them for my loyal customers. One customer broke down in tears and said "I appreciate you so much i shouldn't be getting a gift from you I should be giving you a gift." I gave her a hug and told her seeing her pup every month is her gift to me. Yeah, I went sappy like that!

I saw this photo in a grooming group. The poster used men's beard trimmers on her dog because "professional clippers" couldn't get through the fur and wanted to know how to treat the skin infection. Please leave grooming to the professionals!

Back to the same girl who said I need to give my husky a haircut. This is a two parter because I didn't want to overload you all in one post.
Girl: I'm a dog groomer. I have a cocker spaniel at home.
Me: Oh cool *while cringing thinking about ear infections* so do you hand strip your cocker?
Girl: I am NOT a stripper I already told you I'm a groomer

Took my husky out who is blowing his coat so extra hairy
Random Girl: I am a dog groomer and you're neglecting your dog he needs a haircut
Me: Nice to meet a fellow groomer. Husky's don't get "haircuts" he just needs a good brushing and a blow out
Girl: Huh? Just get his hair his cut already I work at Petsmart if you want to bring him to me.
Me: No thank you ma'am
