What a fun filled 3 days in Yuma, AZ last weekend! (Yeah I know I'm late on sharing.😆)

I miss weekends like that. Made me feel like we were back in the Midwest. ❤ So glad to see Holley and new friends Rob and Pam hung out with us too. (Yes, I stole her photo of us at dinner.)

Mason was Best Opposite S*x all 3 days in Yuma. So proud of my boy! We haven't shown together since we finished his championship last March. 💙 That gave him 9 Points twords his Grand Champion title. He now has his 3 needed majors and his competition wins. Maybe we will work on that next title. 🤔 We will see... I need more hands to show dogs. 🤣

Paige was Select Bitch and Best of Breed owner handled on Friday for a 3 point Grand Champion major. She has just 5 more points to go to get her Grand Champion title and has all her needed majors and competition wins as well.

Thank you to Pam who showed Angel for us. She was so happy to be back in the ring getting treats! She loves to show and you did great with her!

Cleo did good too! She loved the cooler mornings and it showed. 🤣 She had beef in the ring for the first time too and she loved it! So glad she's such a happy girl and has fun when we show. 🥰

Little Cleo 👑👸 has been a busy girl the last 3 weeks too for dog shows!

At a UKC show she won her class twice (it was a 1 day show) and earned her 1st official UKC points. She thought it was great to get treats and the weather was perfect to lay in the grass in the shade and watch everything going on. She loved it.

The last 2 weekends were AKC shows. This weekend she earned some Winners Bitch ribbons but no points to go with it as she was the only bitch that showed and the 12-18 month male was Best of winners both days for the point. Last weekend was her 1st official AKC show and she was 2nd in her Bred By Class on Sat and on Sunday she was Reserve winners bitch with an entry of 5 and she was the youngest in the ring. I was so proud of her! I call that a win in my book! 🥰

Whew its been a busy last 3 weeks for dog shows for Paige so I will sum them up to 1 post. Better late then never? 🤣

We entered a UKC show and was Best female with competition so she earned more points towards a UKC championship. It was good ringtime for her for the AKC shows that were coming up!

The last 2 weekends were AKC shows where she has won 2 Best Opposite S*x, 1 Select, 3 Best Of Breed Owner Handled and a Owner Handled Group 3 to add to her Grand Champion and Owner Handled points.

Photos of ribbons from this weekend as all others are rolled in her ribbons box already. I'm trying to stay organized. 😁

Nova finished with a whopping 5 point major at the Gulfstream Rottweiler Club Of Greater Miami Rottweiler Speciality under Judge Victoria M Jordan.

Congratulations to Nova and his owners Brian McCormac and Jen McCormac! Thank you Rose Robinett for presenting him beautifully!

In the last 2 weeks Nova and Rose have been Winners Dog three times and Best of Winners twice! 11 of his points were from majors! We knew he was something special at a very young age!

🥳🎉 Happy 6 month Birthday Cleo! 🎉🥳

I can't believe she's 6 months old! She's such a fun busy little girl that I feel like she's been with us longer then that. Her shenanigans still crack me up everyday! 😂

She's had a fun filled last 2 weeks. The other night she took my meat, cheese and cracker tray and proudly showed it off to the other dogs. 🤣

I'm also sharing what happens everytime I sit on the couch for all your enjoyment. 🤦‍♀️ If I'm on the couch then 90% of the time she's in my lap.

She went to the Arrowhead Kennel Club with us to support Auntie Paige 2 weeks ago and get used to the dog shows in different environments (this one was at a equestrian center.) She met a new friend there named Capone. She showed him how much fun a sq**rt bottle is to drink from and play with and how to jump up on the ramp ringside. They are about 2 weeks apart and we will seeing more of him in the future. 😊

She spent the morning playing outside for about 3 hours while it was cool out and all dogs got a beef cheek to keep them busy and out of mischief so I could water trees and do other things outside until it got too hot. She thought it was great and ran constantly with her treat in her mouth from one yard to the other. I think I got her seal of approval. 😆

👑 Update on Cleo from the last month! 🤗

We attended her first UKC show last weekend and she was entered in novice puppy. She did sssooo good! She showed her bite perfectly! (So good I wasn't sure if she was our puppy. 🤣) She was Best Novice Puppy in Breed all 4 shows (with competition on Sat) and then went to Best Puppy in show where she competed against the winning puppy in every breed! (Guess they don't have novice puppy groups for UKC.) She didn't win but what a great experience for her! She had so much fun! We didn't stay for Best in Show on Sun as we had to move furniture for new bedroom carpet on Monday. Guess who caused that! 🤔🙄

We went to my cousin's birthday party in California the beginning of Sept and she met the family, new people and Mac the horse! It was great to see everyone! 🥰

Cleo did great with the 53 hours of driving to and from MN. She traveled like a pro. 🥰 She also learned what grass was and how to "do her business" on a leash and collar. All new experiences for her and she she did great with them. Hopefully AZ will cool off soon so we can go more places!

Tommorow she will officially be 4 months! (Wierd how the weeks don't seem to add up but it's correct...)

She started losing her puppy teeth so play biting isn't AS sharp when she gets skin while we are trying to play with toys. 😁🙌

She learned how to get in the pool like a big girl! She LOVES being on the baja ledge and gets in every chance she has! She is getting more comfortable in the deep water and settles down and is calm while I hold her and we walk around the pool.

She is a defensive ball player and tries to stop Paige from bringing me the ball to throw again. She wants Paige all her herself to play. 🤣

This week she got a new collar and leash, took a trip to Home Depot and got to ride in the cart and learned how to get up on the couch and that is now one of her favorite spots. (She thinks it great fun when I try to sit on the floor with her then she jumps on the couch and tries to pull my hair.) Oh, and she has a NEW way to get in and out the pool and still not the normal way but we are getting there!

📸 🎥Week 14!

Oh boy what a week this was! (Plus I'm finally caught up! Well, until Friday) 😆

We are in for it now! Cleo learned she can climb on the outside chairs in the dog yard and she uses the dog bed in the pool yard to jump on that couch!

We had a little bout of crazy ear this week. Must be teething. Do you know how hard it is to chase down a puppy and try to rub her ear when all she wants to do is run and play bite you? 🤪 By the end of the week it was normal again. 😁

We had some pool time when it was overcast for a bit and the temperature dipped down to around 105. (Never thought I would ever type that! 😂) Cleo now gets in and out of the pool on her own and in true Cleo fashion, it's not the easiest or most graceful way and much more difficult then just jumping in. She's such a wierdo! 🤣

Another week of high temperatures so more videos of Cleo playing in the water from the hose in the morning as I water plants and trees around the dog yard. 💦 Cleo finally realized that the palm trees have tops on them and not just stumps in the ground when they were blowing in the wind from the storms happening around us. She wasn't quite sure what to think of them. 🤣 The hose is now apparently a great tug toy as she tries to "help" water trees. 🤦‍♀️

We have have lots going on so I am behind...

We needed to get out of the house so we took a little quick weekend vacation to the beach! Cleo did not like it one bit.

It's been a miserably hot couple of weeks so we have little stretches of sprinkler time. She'll be back in the pool soon! When the pool temperature is 90° or over and it's still over 102° at 9pm, it's not really refreshing. 🥵

Cleo LOVES the water and plays with the house and sprinkler every chance she has. 💦 Need to get back in the pool! Oh, and she finally no longer fits u der the furniture! 🙌

I've tried to get photos of her in some cute sleeping positions as she likes to use toys as pillows but she's a light sleeper and will wake up to a pin drop! I'll keep trying! I got a few from the 4th of July as she was SO tired from playing!

Cleo is getting more playtime with some of the big dogs which she loves! Momma Angel and Auntie Paige are her favorites.

I think she enjoyed watching me panic and think she is stuck as she went under my furniture alot this week! I rushed over to get her out and gave her cookies right away to lure her out. It wasn't as fun for her when I caught on to her game and took photos then gave her cookies for coming out when called. Then she didn't do it as much. 🤣

She has started to go to the door to tell us she needs to go outside 🙌. Now we need the weather to cooperate so we can be outside longer in the evenings again. It's been toasty!!!

This week Cleo had lots of fun around the pool and took her 1st dip in the deeper part to work on swimming (with assistance of course.) 💦 She can now climb out of the pool on her own but still can't figure out how to get in so she barks at you. 🤣 Her favorite toy for a day was a brush which she played with and carried around the yard. We also had some sprinkler fun and she loves her morning and evening outside playtime when its finally cool enough out to play for a bit.

This week Cleo found out what the microwave has wonderful smells that come out of it 😋, she played with a toy that will keep her busy for a bit 🙌, tried to play more corn hole (I think she played as much as we did) 😂, she got some new mini tennis balls as we wanted to see if she loves them as much as Daddy does 🤔 and she got to lick the yogurt container first! 😋

Oh boy! We are in trouble now! Cleo has found out how to get out of her dining room play area if the gate is left open. She just hops right over of like a little bunny. 🐇😆

What a week! She's definitely getting quicker and starting to meet the other dogs. Aunt Paige wants to play with her sssooo bad but can't figure out how since she's still so little. Uncle Mason is only interested in watching her when she is awake and Grandma Halo is only interested in stealing her toys. 🤣 She did lay down when she first met her but when Cleo tried to nurse, that was it and she got up, took a toy and walked out. 😂😂😂 Link loves puppies but he is now more interested in watching her from afar. He doesn't have the energy for them anymore. 😆

🥰 What a fun week it was with her! From first mush meals to finding her bark and growling during play. Her little personality is definitely showing now. She does not like being in the whelping box at all anymore and cries to get out to go roam and play (she's only in it at night now to sleep). She's super smart and learning the potty box. 🙌 She loves her play area we set up for her last weekend and can play and watch the big dogs around her now.

She's a feisty little girl has been super strong from the day she was born and already rules the family schedule including my sleep! 🥱😆. Grandma Halo is the current queen of the house but I have a feeling little Cleo is the princess that will take her spot one day.

Thank you Sarah Janner for allowing us to breed Angel to Jimmy and to both you and Michael Marucci for helping with the scheduling to make sure this breeding took place. I appreciate both of you! We are just smitten with this little girl. 🥰

Whew! What a busy 4 days! 🥱 We had Mason & Paige entered in 5 shows in 4 days here in Arizona. 🌵🏜

💙 Mason showed well in the breed ring as his first couple times as a special. (The majors in dogs broke even with him kept in classes so we were no help so we decided to move him up.) I learned he's just like his Momma Halo and LOVES Grandpa Dale's pork chop recipe. We are now learning the phrase "Take it nicely" luckily I still have all my fingers. 😆

❤ Paige was Best Bred By at the American Rottweiler Club speciality hosted by the Grand Canyon State Rottweiler Club. 💚 She was 1st in her class in 3 shows and was reserve winners b*tch today.

It was nice to see everyone again and officially meet people I see on Facebook. 😆 We left right after breed as we had lots of things to do at home this weekend. Congratulations to all the winners!

Everytime I sit on the couch this is what I get. 🤣

She did so good!!! Even with me showing her! There were about 10 puppies in the ring with her.

Her first experience with grass! We were at a baseball field since dog parks are gross!

Cleo Week 17- Oh Cleo, let go of Paige's leg..

Cleo Week 17- Sorry, for the darkness until the lights kick on. They are motion sensored solar so they are low lights until they run in front of them.

Cleo Week 16- Thank you for taking the leaves out of the pool Cleo! 🍂 My little helper. ❤

Cleo Week 16- FINALLY getting rain sprinkles in Arizona and she still goes in the pool. 😆

Cleo week 16- Little night swimming. That's Grandma Halo fetching the toy.

Cleo week 15- A new way in and out of the pool. At least this way looks easier then over the back of the chair. 😆

Cleo week 15- At least they get to enjoy the pool as I clean it.

Cleo week 14- Halo and Angel know to stay in the pool to keep cool. Cleo and Paige just want the pool toys.

Cleo week 14- Her new way of getting in and out of the pool on her own. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Cleo week 14- You can see the wheels turning as she's trying to figure out how to get in the pool.

Cleo week 14- Playing tired bitey face with Paige. If she's awake, she's playing.

Cleo week 13- Curiously watching the leaves move. It's not normally this windy out. I had to lighten up the video as it was dark out. The wind is turning on our motion solar lights.

Cleo week 13- This is how we spend most of the time in the house. Cleo playing with the other dogs then getting the zoomies. (She's playing with Momma Angel in the video.)

Cleo week 13- She's bbaaack. 😆 3rd time this morning to play in the water.

Cleo week 13- Comes back to play in the water a little more then off she goes to lay in the shade.
