Sumac’s and Ripley’s babies are getting so big! It’s so hard to believe that they were 4 weeks old yesterday! They are developing so fast. We are counting down the days until our little Snapdragon can come join her new pack with us!

I have to take a moment to brag on my boy! Sumac completed his Senior title in just 8 days of barn hunting all together. and I couldn't be prouder! His versatility never ceases to amaze me, and I'm excited to see where his sports career takes him. Raising a girl from him will be an incredible experience, and I'm eager to witness her growth and accomplishments.

A little update on the girls!

They are doing so good! They are now three weeks old and already walking and running and playing. Not to mention very fat and happy! I’m so proud of their momma Ripley and her owner Stephanie Sargent for taking such good care of these girls. I am counting down the days until Snap can come join her new pack!

Sumac successfully earned another Q in barnhunt! So now we only need one more before he gets his Senior title! It’s so hard to believe that we have come so far in just 3 weekends. This weekend we only did one day because we are traveling to Wv for the holidays. Sumac is a great hunter but we definitely have some work to do to teach him not to be so rough with the rats! But I am still insanely proud of this dog! At the end of the video he was having trouble with the tunnel because he knocked a bale down into it and has never had to deal with an obstruction in a tunnel. But we eventually got there!

We’ve been a little busy! Sumac had a single day trail in barnhunt today. We successfully Q’d in one run but I unfortunately had a bad call in the other. But that means we have 2 out of the 3 Q’s for his title! Got a pretty cool ribbon and then the boys got a well needed bath at tractor supply. We are headed to Wv to visit family for the holidays.

Watching these little ones grow and seeing the best traits of both their mom and dad shine through brings me so much joy...

Watching these little ones grow and seeing the best traits of both their mom and dad shine through brings me so much joy. Moments like these remind me why I’ve dedicated so much time and heart into my dogs. I’m extremely grateful to have been involved in this process, even though I only own the sire. I’m also thrilled to have the opportunity to keep one of these beautiful girls! At just over a week old, they’re already fat, sassy, and thriving. I’m beyond grateful for this journey and the special dogs that have made every bit of it worthwhile.

What an amazing weekend! The more sports we learn the more fun we have! Sumac earned not one but two more titles this weekend! He got his RATN and his RATO! Not only that but he placed first in every run this weekend! Now we are going to start in the Senior division in a couple weeks! A big thank you to NADM Barn Hunt- Jonesborough, TN for hosting such a fun event! I really enjoyed meeting new people and seeing friends! Hopefully we can get one or two more titles at the next event 🥰

I am super proud of sumac today! He competed in his first trial and got first place in both of his novice runs with his fastest run being 27.66 seconds. I cannot wait to see how the rest of this weekend goes. We opted to skip the instinct title because he was doing so good in practice ☺️
