And our older litter is full of even more vim and vigor now that they have an entire room to take over! We love this stage for the bobtails, because they like to hop everywhere, like little bunnies. 😻
Today's kitten observations:
PE is now known as Takeshi. Depending on the characters used for the name in Japanese, the name can mean several different things. However, I'm sticking with warrior, because as you can see in the video, he isn't letting anything stop him! He has been out and about, exploring the cage, the top edges of the bed, and everywhere in between. He also likes to sit at the door and yell at me for pets.
The Zorro looking boy is the most adventurous. I let Taiga out a few times a day to stretch her legs... And he was out of the nest right after that! He's explored every inch of the cage, and has even taken a sip or two of water. No interest in any of the three types of food Taiga is getting per day, but that's alright... They aren't quite old enough for that yet.
The two girls love to scuffle with each other in the bed, and don't seem as adventurous as the boys. That said, they did come out of the bed quite a few times, and toddle around.
Harold Jr also partook in some sips of water, and was the first to peek into the litter box. It might be just a smidge too high for them to get into right now, but I'm sure it's coming!
Onespot likes to lick the outside of the water bowl... Not really sure why, but it's adorable. His back legs frequently try to move faster than his front, and he goes tumbling forward unable to brake.
I introduced a kitten toy to the cage tonight, and while they don't understand yet how to play with it, they definitely like to climb on it.
It's been a nice quiet weekend at home for us, and we've enjoyed getting to experience the kittens a bit more than normal. Not looking forward to work this week, but the evenings will be filled with kitten love!
Our KawaiiKittens have been upgraded to a bed, instead of a large high sided litter box! The little mi-ke was the first to explore! She is crawling around on her wobbly legs, checking out the scenery. 😻
Taiga is very concerned when we snag her kits for the daily weigh in! She always tries to take them back. 😻
