🚨 Urgent Help Needed for Our Rescue 🚨

This week has been a tough one for our rescue, and we need your help! Here’s what’s going on:

One of our foster kittens, Spike, broke his leg overnight while being his usual wild self. He’s already been seen by the vet, and the cost of his treatment is approximately $600.
We also received an urgent call about two cats in Animal Control without heat, and one of them, Nidhogg, has a severely injured eye. We couldn’t say no, and we're committed to helping them! Treatment for Nidhogg’s eye will be $500.
Additionally, both Nidhogg and the other new cat, Skadi, need vetting, which will cost $150 each.
Total Needed: $1,400

This amount will cover:

-Spike’s broken leg ($600)
-Nidhogg’s eye enucleation ($500)
-Vetting for both Nidhogg and Skadi ($300)
We’re asking for your help to raise $1,400 to cover these necessary treatments. Every donation, big or small, helps us provide the care these animals need and deserve.

Meet Tibby! 🐾 She's a truly special girl who is looking for her forever home. Tibby has cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), which means she has some coordination challenges. She might have a little trouble walking and sometimes takes a tumble, but that doesn't stop her from living life to the fullest.

Tibby doesn't know she's any different from the other cats, and she keeps up with playtime, happily joining in with her furry friends. She's even taught herself how to navigate the wooden floors, though she still enjoys the comfort of some carpeted spots to help her balance. Despite her occasional “banging around,” Tibby is a resilient little girl who just picks herself up and keeps going, reminding us all that strength is in the heart, not the body.

Our resilient Elsa has found her forever home!!! She came to us in labor for two days, very sick, she had to have an emergency C-section and sadly none of the puppies made it. But, her strength has led her to a brighter future thanks to our amazing community that rallied together and helped support the high cost of her care! She will have two Schnauzer siblings! And judging by this picture, they look to be getting along just fine! Happy Tails Elsa! We are ecstatic for you and your new family!

Buddy, Gimbels, and Jovie are three irresistible kittens who are sure to capture your heart! Due to a little sneezing, Buddy’s neuter surgery is postponed for a week, but rest assured, these three cuties will be ready for their forever homes by the end of the month.

Buddy is the adventurous explorer of the trio, always on the move and full of curiosity. Gimbels is the affectionate snuggler who craves human companionship and isn’t shy about showing it. Little Jovie, with her wide, soulful eyes, may be a bit shy at first, but once she starts accepting pets, it’s impossible not to melt—her trust is truly a gift.

These three bonded, and Jovie especially relies on her brothers to feel safe and secure. Whether they're playing together or cuddling up on their favorite window perch, their bond is undeniable. They love their Golden Retriever foster brother and would be fine with a new canine brother. At just 13 weeks old and under 3.5 lbs, they’re still tiny kittens with so much love to give.

Domino is a sweet, misunderstood kitty with a lot of potential. Labeled "feral" due to fear and stress, she was simply adjusting to new surroundings when she arrived at Heartland. With patience, she now enjoys petting, peacefully coexists with other cats, and loves to follow you around, rub against your legs, and play with toys. Domino needs a calm, quiet home—no dogs or young children—and would do best with another cat who respects her space or as the only pet. She may take some time to adjust, but she’s a loving, loyal companion in the making.

Meet Aubrey, our 11-year-old Heartland Diva! She’s a sweet, sassy lady who’s been with us for years. Though she’s mellowed with age, she still loves her space and enjoys attention on her terms. After overcoming health issues and the removal of most of her teeth, she’s back to her feisty, lovable self, enjoying her favorite meals and pain-free life. Aubrey prefers a calm, quiet home without kids or dogs, and gets along well with other cats as long as her boundaries are respected. She’s not a fan of being picked up or having her nails done, but she’s all heart. If you’re a cat-savvy person who understands her needs, Aubrey could be your perfect companion!

Meet Maisie, the beautiful Chimera cat. Neither a calico or a tortoiseshell, the striking Chimera cat results from a very rare genetic quirk. They have an amazing appearance with the fur on one side of its face one color, and the fur on the other side a different color. This little girl is 11 months old and tiny, less than 6 lb, and very sweet. She has had her first round of vaccinations and will be spayed this week. She will be ready for adoption soon.

Reintroducing Luna! 🌙 She’s currently at Petsmart and looking for her forever home!

Luna is super sweet but needs a little time to adjust to new surroundings. She can be a bit hissy at first (hey, we all need our personal space), but she’s never shown any aggression. Once she warms up, though, she turns into a total love bug—petting, brushing, and cuddles are her jam! 🐾 She’s also very vocal, so get ready for some fun conversations.

Luna is an only-pet kind of gal, so if you’re looking for a solo companion who will shower you with affection, she’s your girl. She was adopted as a kitten but returned recently due to allergies in the home. Now, she’s just waiting for someone to call her own.💕
