If you are concerned about the plight of stray and abandoned cats, please take the time to read this. It is a legal precedent and a huge victory for friendly stray and abandoned cats. We hope that this will take hold in shelters nationwide that have implemented such "Community Cat Programs ".

A judge ruled that the San Diego Humane Society's release of cats back to the streets without a confirmed caretaker is unlawful.

Well this is a first! A foster for the Ark is also fostering some puppies from Tuba City Humane Society that are now with Coconino Humane Association. Looks like Ark foster cat Wembley has adopted the puppies and is being their cat Dad. 🥰 Wembley and Mokey (his sister) are a bonded pair that love dogs and will be available for adoption soon at the Flagstaff PetSmart! 💕

We have 7 friendly adults and two scared kittens coming in from Fort Defiance on Friday that we desperately need fosters for. Fostering will probably be short term as they are all spayed and neutered and we just need to get their vaccinations current before they can go up for adoption. Can you help us rescue these kitties?
