Hurray for adoptions! While we are always sad to see our catstranauts leave, it excites us to see them find new and wonderful forever homes! Super excited that Matty and Churro have found their new orbits! Sweet cats that can give their new people so much love!

Kitten puddle! It’s getting warmer out, but our kittens still love to cuddle! Mercury (Grey) Matty (Orange) and Major (Black) love to snuggle up and hang out on the couch waiting for someone to come sit and pet all of them!

As 2023 goes behind us and we look towards 2024, we just want to thank everyone who supports, donates, fosters, adopted, or even just acknowledges what we are doing with Rocket Cat Rescue this year.

-We took in 25 new cases in 2023
-We found wonderful homes for 15 cats in our care
-Sadly, we said goodbye to 7 cats whose medical issues just count not be overcome, but we provided them compassionate care and hospise until the very end.
-We saw a generous uptick in grant funding available for programs like ours
-We could not do this without the community support from all of you.

We are cautiously optimistic for 2024, working to finish up some medical work to get more cats out for adoption, with a goal of finding 15-20 cats forever homes in 2024 and being able to continue our core mission of supporting the special needs cats that need it most.

Are you seeing double? Bo (left) has been teaching Major (right) how to be a wonderful and dapper tuxedo cat. Bo likes to play with both Major and his sister Ursa a lot and show them how to be great cats. They say, “you don’t need eyes to get around!” All of them will be looking for forever homes in 2024.

So proud of Lyra, who got adopted today and delivered to her forever home! Lyra has been with us for 3 years, and is a total love bug, who we were just waiting foe the right adopter to come along for. We are so excited at the purrrfect match she found, and can’t wait to get updates!
