WHAT’S HAPPENING AT THE WILMA RUDOLPH EVENT CENTER
Clarksville Parks & Recreation prepares for multiple events in February and March
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville Parks and Recreation invites you to an exciting lineup of events coming to the Wilma Rudolph Event Center this February and March. From family-friendly fun to energetic evenings, there's a little something for everyone to enjoy!
Cookie Crawl – February 15, 2025
Calling all cookie lovers! The 2025 Cookie Crawl returns to the Wilma Rudolph Event Center on Saturday, February 15, bringing sweet treats and fun for the whole family.
The event starts with an exclusive VIP experience from 12-1:30 p.m., featuring a hands-on cookie decorating class taught by a local baker. VIP attendees will also enjoy early access to the main event from 1:30-2 p.m.
The Cookie Crawl begins at 2 p.m., and will feature local bakers sharing delicious samples, selling their creations, and taking custom orders. Attendees can vote for their favorite baker, enjoy swag bags and recipes, and create their own cookie masterpieces at the free decorating station, hosted by Austin Peay State University’s Culinary Arts Program.

Family Formal – March 1, 2025
Step into a magical wonderland at the annual Family Formal on March 1 from 5-8 p.m. This year’s event has a Mad Hatter twist, inviting families to dress up in colorful outfits, don silly hats, and join in a whimsical tea party filled with delightful treats.
Enjoy a live magic show, arts and crafts, family games, a photo booth, and lively music to keep everyone dancing the night away. Spaces are limited, so register early to secure your spot for this enchanting evening. Babies under 1-year-old do not require a ticket.

Nerf Wars – March 8, 2025
Gear up for action at Nerf Wars on March 8! This adrenaline-filled event runs from 2-9 p.m., with separate sessions for different age groups:
Ages 6-8: 2-3 p.m.
Ages 9-12: 3-4 p.m.
Ages 13-17: 4-5 p.m.
Ages 18+: 5-6 p.m.
Each session includes four, 10-minute battles. Participants must bring their own Nerf-style foam or dart blasters (compatible with Nerf brands), while ammunition and safety eyewear will be provided. Nerf balls, discs, mega darts, or mechanized blasters are not permitted.

Boots, Beats, & Bites – March 21, 2025
