WOW!! What an exciting year we have had! Macie started the spring season as an APR HR. We have put some miles on, dealt with a heat cycle in the middle of the spring test season, ran back to back weekends in HRC in Aug, then finished the fall APLA season in WY. I am so grateful for everyone that has been a part of this journey! There are so many people that I want to thank for all of the help and support you have provided us! Basically everyone I have met or had any sort of conversation with at any APLA event! Know that all of your words of encouragement, feedback, ideas, and the “nice job” have allowed us to get here. For that I thank you. To my family and friends, THANK YOU for encouraging me to chase this! I cannot forget my training group, without you none of this would have been possible, you guys got us rocking and rolling!!! Can’t forget the breeders…. SHE IS AMAZING! Last but definitely not least, Wade, thank you for allowing me to steal your dream and literally running with it. (The pointing lab game was originally supposed to be your thing….) without your support and encouragement this would not have happened. Love you babe! We did it!!!

After running all spring, hitting a couple HRC tests, and finally running in the Triple Crown, we had some success and we had some fails.
As I sit and drink my morning coffee and reflect on the last several months and all the positives, learned experiences, weaknesses, and strengths, I feel as if I am exactly where I am meant to be with Nocona and Macie.

Well it was not the finish in South Dakota we had hoped for. However I am still very proud of my wife Aimee Beam Heinrich and our dogs!! She put in so much time and work in to make it to the Triple Crown Invitational this year. Out of all the pointing labs in the country only 103 qualified and Nocona was one of them. Now though the work continues and the goal is getting Macie and Nocona to next year's Triple Crown. Can't wait to see everything you will all accomplish! Again congratulations to everyone who did get a Triple Crown title especially to our friends from Rocky Point Kennels, LLC on getting their Skye passed! Hopefully we will see you in Michigan for the next one.
